New store in Pekin. Been there twice for takeout and was excellent. Tonight, we dined in. Service was not super friendly. All the proteins seemed to be out or super dry. When they asked the cook about more protein, he seemed to be annoyed and had attitude. I got the carne asada steak. Flavorful but quite dry. The rest of my bowl was great. The portions are alot better than the East Peoria location.

I eat Chipotle weekly and order the same thing every week, I was excited to actually get one close to home. After 4 tries, I drive past it on my way to East Peoria every week.
I dont understand how a chain can be so different from one location to the other. Portions here are small and cold, rice is under cooked along with the chips. Seasoning is different each time.
My last straw was when I was at the register to pay and was told I should be charged for double chicken. I didnt make it, nor order double chicken, and it was still a small portion of chicken in my opinion compared to any other Chipotle I have been to. Then poor guy that made it gets scolded about it in front of me. This will never last in Pekin, it will be ran into the ground in no time. The people that get this service and quality that have never been to a Chipotle will never come back, guaranteed. You get that 1 chance to make an impression.

Ordered delivery a few times from this new location. The delivery service from DoorDash is good. The portion size and poor quality of food need to be reviewed at this location. The bowls are half full and burritos are small! The rice has not been properly cooked either time I’ve ordered from this location. The overall saltiness is also an issue.

Manager had a attitude for no reason I had a online order got two bowls and chips my bowls are half full and no chips she said they were out so I asked for some kind of substitute and she said I guess a side of queso or guacamole. Could have been handled professionally but instead acted like it was coming out of her pockets moral of the story don’t order here especially online they will skimp on you east Peoria never does me dirty like this

Been there twice since opening and both times have been extremely subpar for Chipotle. One time the burrito making station was such a mess that they attempted to clean off sour cream but the rag was too wet so it was puddles of wet sour cream and cheese with water mixture, it was so gross. They dragged my burrito through it and I didn't even eat it...I just threw it away because it was opening week and you could tell they were already stressed to the max and I didn't want to add the additional pressure, it wasn't worth it. However, when I came in today it was again another subpar experience for what Chipotle is known for. The entire burrito itself fit into the palm of my hand, not even touching the fingers... just the palm of my hand. The medium salsa didn't even have the consistency of salsa and was more like torn tomatoes. The topping station was dirty as well and for being a new restaurant it's been overall very disappointing. Because I am such a fan of Chipotle I will wait a bit and give a chance to get service kinks worked out and will try it again... However, if it's not greatly improved I'm not sure I'll try again.

Do not order online or you will get skimped on. Do not expect to be able to call anyone to get it fixed either, all customer service is AI now and it’s terrible.
Went here for lunch, honestly when ordering, this is the cleanest chipotle I have been in. Often times I will go to other chipotles and the counter where they make your food will be a complete mess, the queso will look like it has been sitting out forever, however, this store was extremely clean on the inside.

I have been here a few times and each time is a different experience. So, first of all.... The day time staff is amazing. Friendly all around. From the ones making my food, to the cashier, to the grill, friendly and fun all around. It's nice and clean and a very welcoming atmosphere. I've been in there a few times for lunch and it was all absolutely PHENOMENAL. Now, night shift...... Not friendly. Lots of acting like you're an inconvenience to them. It's slow, skimpy on ingredients, so much rudeness. It's dirty. Lots of standing around doing nothing, besides messing around with each other or being on their phones. I guess I'll be sticking with going their for lunch. It's a much better vibe. Do yourself a favor and stick with the lunchtime crowd.

Way to go Pekin. Only been open a month and the amount of bad reviews is crazy. Went there last night about 5:30, not busy, which is kind of telling if your slow during prime dinner rush. Walked in looked at the overpriced menu, the sloppy looking prep line and dried out looking meats and left. How long before this place closes?

They have only been open for a few weeks. Definitely need to fine tune some things. Had to have a table cleaned to be able to sit down and eat. Was given a stale bag of tortilla chips which they happily replaced. Feel like the Peoria Chipotle was much better. Will revisit in the future to give a second chance. Hope they can get it together. Food was given in small portions and had to ask for a little more on a few of the items which they did give me a little more.
