Parking: Touch here and there on service and how they serve the amount of their icecreams. I get the same everything and it seems here lately it is less than I asked for and more costly. I mean way less. It used to be a great place. It is starting to remind me of DQ now. I am a bit disappointed. I have been going here for several years with my family.

Pay attention to what your customers order!!!!!!! Outside of that issue, the place is great. Dole Whip alone is more than worth the trip, especially if it's Pineapple, Mango or Blueberry Dole Whip for their flavor of the week. Big portions and some of the best Ice Cream in Illinois ( personal opinion). Best believe this place is going to be busy, so patience will be key and it will be worth it. P.S. Having a Freeze made with Dole Whip and Slushy is a whole other level of Greatness!

I typically LOVE this place, love what they’ve done with the outside eating area. But the owner literally sits outside while people try to enjoy their ice cream and chain smoke cigarettes. It has been this way the last several times we have gone there. Not just a one off incident. It’s incredibly rude. Nobody wants to smell that while they eat. Can’t even enjoy ice cream with my kids

Local and delicious. So many different flavors and creations to choose from. My favorite is the cookie dough swirl. Prices are hard to beat and when I say speedy service, I mean it!

We went through the drive thru and ordered Uncle Bob’s ice cream. When we were given our ice cream, it was clearly not Uncle Bob’s (the quality was much less). When we asked, we were told they ran out and this was Blue Bunny. Why weren’t we told this when we ordered? We would’ve ordered something else that we would actually eat instead of wasting money for mediocre ice cream that was just thrown away. This is the second time this has happened to us at Double D’s. Rather than chance wasting the money again since they aren’t upfront about it, we won’t be going back.

Absolutely love this place and they're the only place I can find peach ice cream. Would recommend going here for a delicious shake and they have a cute seating area outside so you can sit and enjoy right there on a nice day.
