Waitresses need to understand how to work with neurodivergent individuals. I was with a friend who misunderstood the waitresses very first question and from that moment on the waitress was rude and combative. She went out of her way to be overly friendly to every table around us with not even a word to our table. When it came time for the bill she threw it down and walked away. Been eating at Khouris for 20 years and I think I'll be finding somewhere else to eat where the waitresses aren't rude... it appears to be a common thing with the ratings that waitresses lack customer service.

So I had never been here before and was super excited to come as I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place. I’m usually not one to complain about food but with the places reputation I was surprised when I had the most average food ever. The waitress was super nice so no ill will towards her but I got the French dip sandwich. First, it came out super fast which was a little off putting, the meat did not resemble a French dip, it was also still cold in parts, the bread was way too much and not good for this type of sandwich, the aus jus almost had zero flavor, I’ve had better gravy from Arby’s, and the fries had no salt or flavor either. Overall it was really disappointing as this place has such a good reputation but it seemed as though zero effort had been put into the food I received. Hopefully I can try something better if I ever go back or maybe this particular sandwich could be revamped.
We have not been here for many years-met Brother and sister-in-law here last night. I had the oven roasted wings-they were fabulous and my husband had a tenderloin which he also enjoyed.

I always come here when visiting some family in Pekin, and every single time it is a fantastic experience. The food is delicious, don't think I have had anything I didn't absolutely love off the menu. All of the servers and staff are some of the nicest people, and take excellent care of you. I've been coming down here for close to 30 years, and this place is always amazing!!

Arrived early evening on Wed 14th by myself for patio seating. Waitress at 1st was very nice and took my order right away. During the ENTIRE time of my meal and after, she never showed up to check on me. It was a very busy night but no excuse. With my background on food service, EVERYONE is treated the same- whether you are with 10 other people or by yourself. Now what I can tell you, if she had been more attentive she would have received a bigger tip from me than she received from the 8 top or other tables she decided to attend to other than myself. What a shame. You guys have a good thing going here but you might want to focus on training a touch more
