Ordered thru the online system at 1pm. Went thru checkout & it said my 1 pizza would be delivered (4.6miles) at 250pm. That kinda blew my mind and made me almost tryn cancel my order but I decided to wait. Well, the estimated time was WAAAY off and the pizza came in about 50mins.. a good thing! Pizza was still steaming hot when I opened the package. Another good thing!!!
Downsides, I ordered EXTRA toppings and it really looked like it wasn't very much more than the REGULAR toppings. For example the EXTRA pepperoni pizza had about 4 or 5 more pieces than the REGULAR one. Definitely not worth the extra charge. The pizza is cut into tiny squares about the size of a passport photo. Literally 2"x2". I don't mind small pieces but a little bigger than a $0.25 piece is pretty ridiculous. Overall I liked the taste of the pizza. I didn't really like the business model of skimping on the paid for EXTRA toppings. And I wasn't really feeling the pizza roll bite sized pieces of pizza.

Good experience last visit here. Good service, and I have always loved the Monicals Delight pizza. Seemed to have plenty of help at a busy time.

The waitresses are always great here! I won’t be going back to the Pekin store though, because of the following problem. First I want to say that I have been screwed over a couple times at different restaurants and had people fill in the tip area after I signed and gave the receipt back only to find out later on that more was drafted from my account. I always leave a tip in cash and never include it with my debit card. Last night I used a new card and noticed that the amount taken out was about 17.00 more than what I signed for, so I called up and talked to the manager, not to accuse but just to make sure that it was still the 70.99 taken out and that no one added a tip, like previously at other restaurants. I felt the manager was rude and at the end of the phone call, I started to say thank you for your help, the phone seemed like it slammed in my ear. I thought management was there to help customers and answer questions??? I guess I was wrong! He did tell me that it was a hold at my bank, and if I needed a copy of the receipt he printed one out and I can come and get it, but no thanks for eating there, no generous attitude and no bye, just slam. We will drive to Morton for our weekly Monical’s fix. I seriously don’t know how I could’ve been any nicer during that phone call.
The mighty meat bowl to go was less than 1/2 the container size. I ordered it a year ago and it was a full container. And have ordered it since and slowly has shrunk in amount they give you over time. Ridiculous! Pay almost $20 for an individual pleaser and get 1/4 of a bowl pizza. Picture in comments.
