At 5:00am on Friday I made a pit stop at Tadoughs in Pekin. Not many want to be awake at that time including myself… but I was greeted by two smiling and joyful ladies at the counter. In a 5 to 10 minute interaction for a couple dozen donuts and a coffee, my mood changed from a 2 to a 10! The ladies were incredibly friendly, laughing, and asking kind questions that seemed to make my day begin quite a bit better than normal. I was truly blown away by this simple and quick interaction which makes me want to come back next Friday! Thank you for the morning bump, and the incredible donuts!

Visited from out of town. Family lives in Pekin and raved about this donut shop. Got there around 5 am and there was a line shortly after! All of the donuts we got were delicious and light. First time having potato flour donuts. Will definitely be back!

Such a perfect stop for local donuts! My kids love the cinnamon rolls, which are humongous. Those old fashioned buttermilk donuts are my go-to. The Wednesday special roll is phenomenal, too!

Pretty sure the donuts are fried in engine oil aka canola oil.. & I came in months ago but the experience was so ?, still thought to come leave a review, it was a older lady in there when I came, rude af, THEY messed up my pre order I placed the night before so I come in next day expecting my order on the preorder rack, it isn’t there so I let them know& the lady was rude af as if they didn’t mess my order up, & had to make it right then and some of the stuff I ordered was sold out & she gave me less than 12 donuts, rude but can’t even count
