Went to this location yesterday evening and they were out of beef/meat the young lady said. That's like KFC being out of chicken lol. Anyway, i was extremely disappointed by this. I will try them again of course. Hopefully I can change this review after!!

Good luck getting any front counter service. Employees are more worried about trying to sleep with each other and staring at customers than to actually work.

My wife and I stopped in for the first time in a couple years and were disappointed to find the store so unkempt. The service and food were good, but the bathrooms were filthy, the tables, floors and drink area were dirty and the sidewalks need a good pressure washing.

Store was clean, one couple was friendly, and the Transient didn't ask for spare change. I got my order in a Timely fashion, It only took 15 minutes to make 3 supreme tacos. The food Was prepared my favorite way, Cold, Bland. Even with fire sauce Didn't wore my palate, My order was taken promptly due to nobody staying in line ordering the delicious food. The staff was so friendly.They only allowed one lady to Prepare the. food while the others stood there handing food out the drive Through. They don't take cash over $50 bills. So Inconvenient. I would avoid taco bell in pekin illinois. But the staff was friendly. And I'm sure it's difficult waiting for the food to get cold before slopping it on a Toco shell. No wonder Taco bells are closing across illinois. If Craving tacos. Go to a Pretend Mexican restaurant. At least the food will hot. And you will get your money's worth. Come on $11 for three small tacos and a watered down soda so worth it.

The employees are clueless have no idea what they are doing or how to deal with customers. Waited over 40 minutes for 2 burritos literally. So noticed everyone that came after is now getting their big ass bags of food while I’m still waiting for 2 burritos. Brought it to the employees attention and he tried to make it seem like they were being pushed out in order when obviously not true since me and 2 other lady’s still haven’t gotten our food so response now is “ Well we only have 2 employee making the food” mind you or u they have 3-5 employees walking around not doing anything cause they are being told not to clock in! The kind lady behind me asked them for a manager the response from ANOTHER employee was “I’m not to sure who the manage on shift is” like excuse me!? How do you not who u you our manager is!? The employees need properly trained on how to deal with customers this place needs better management. Also one of the fountain drinks on the inside is broken nobody is doing anything literally not even putting a sign to let other know it’s broken.

Ordered a twelve pack of tacos tonight. They didn’t call or anything about not having any beef. Instead they sent us TWELVE TACO SHELLS WITH COLD SHREDDED CHEESE! They didn’t even have the decency to melt the cheese or CALL TO ASK ABOUT A DIFFERENT MEAT
We showed up at about 7:15- 720 pm on 10/13/2024 to pick up an order for doordash. We didn't leave until 7:50. Not from the place being busy, but poorly ran. There was an order that had been sitting out for over 2 orders on the warming rack. Behind the counter it was impossible to not see the excessive amount of food, shells, bags, cups, sauce containers on the floor that everyone was just walking over/kicking around. A few employees at the register threw cups to each other to try and kick into the overflowing trash can. We counted around 12-14 people working behind the counter and we had to tell them about 7 times what we were waiting for. They were all more concerned with tomfoolery and horsing around than working. The guy infront of us had to wait 10 minutes for them to give him a cup. Save your money and go to either a different tacobell or somewhere else entirely. That was an unacceptable experience.
