Joe's Original Italian & Martini Bar

Food came out cold. Drinks were subpar. Italian food tasted like it came out of a can. Extremely underwhelmed and disappointed with the whole experience.

Good food. Pricy for portions. It's not as good as other Joe's

It was the husband and I’s first time and we were very thankful for our waitress, Melissa. She took the time and went over things with us, and she was very pleasant and helpful to us. All of the food was great… and we will be back with friends!

Place is absolutely amazing, it's a date night regular for us. Great atmosphere and amazing food.

I choose this place for my special 30th birthday party. They accommodated us wonderfully and gave us a secluded area where we could celebrate without disturbing the rest of the customers. Kate was our waitress and she recommended the BEST drinks. She took care of our entire party wonderfully, I can’t recommend her enough! The owner came by and wished me a happy birthday and made sure everything was top notch. I can’t recommend Joe’s enough. If you want top notch quality, service, and experience please take your party/ date night to Joe’s and experience most wonderful service there is Peoria Heights. Joe’s is a 10/10 experience and I will remember how everyone made sure my birthday was made a memorial event. I will be back next year to celebrate!! A special thank you to everyone at Joe’s

My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary, on Tuesday the 30th. While our food was delicious and the service was prompt, we overheard your bartender/our waiter (with a beard, bun and mustache) having an EXTREMELY unprofessional conversation with a gentlemen at the bar during which they BOTH used the words “retarded” and “fag” while reminiscing about a better time when they could use them more openly. It put a HUGE damper on the evening and ruined my appetite. We promptly got our check and got out of there ASAP. I can understand not being able to control the customer and what he said, but to repeat the words and sentiment on the clock instead of simply placating him was just grossly unprofessional. We were the only ones there at the time, so it’s not as if they could’ve assumed we didn’t hear. In fact, I made it very clear we did. As I said, I tried contacting someone directly but had no luck and it was SUCH a disappointing, divisive experience, I can’t just let it go. I hope that for the future, you’re able to tell your employees what is and isn’t appropriate work conversation.

This is an outstanding place to go eat. They have the best pasta don’t ever think that it’s bar food, it is excellent. You should go there! The service was excellent. Staff was very friendly and made plenty suggestions about items on the menu.

I am so sad, I do not know what has happened in the last 6 months but Joes Original Italian & Martini Bar is no longer my favorite restaurant. The stuffed mushrooms used to be so good, my favorite but now there is onions and other stuff in them, tastes terrible!!! and they upped the price from 10.00 to 16.00!! I would pay 16.00 for the previous ones but not these. Also the Alfredo Di Mare is not as good as it use to be, hardly any flavor and not creamy. Please bring back the old chef!!! Our waitress was very sweet! But would not recommend for a finer restaurant. I have had better Alfredo at other restaurants at half the price. It's a shame!
