My wife and I love this place! We have purchased the sampler platter twice now and everything is consistent as well as delicious. Met Robbie and he clearly has the passion for what he does. I can say that this is the best BBQ restaurant in central Illinois. I came for the brisket and pork belly, but whatever is in that sausage mix is what’s keeping me here that’s really special. Anyone I know that wants BBQ in this area I will be sending them to Slow Hand.
Best keeps getting better! I’m a regular who moved out of town and always get Slow Hand when I’m in town. I used to always get the same thing: pulled pork by weight but today tried the Kona (patty + pulled pork) Smashburger, and wow!!!!! Awesome mac & cheese, too, as always.

absolutely amazing, pulled pork! So I stopped by the local Trefzger’s bakery, and I could smell the meat cooking from there, I went in for a sandwich, but decided to buy a pound of their pulled pork.
