This place is amazing! I have tried the 1/4 ibs steakburger, porkchop sandwich, and ham and cheese. All absolutely excellent! Highly recommended to anyone!

The staff is extremely friendly and the food is great, I had a turkey club sandwich and it was delicious! I also enjoyed the whole "middle of downtown" atmosphere! It also has a sort of 1950s theme which feels nice. Definitely will be visiting again next time I'm in Peoria. We ordered box lunches for work and the food was great. I had the turkey sandwich with dill mayo. It came with a small cup of pasta salad and potato salad. It was all very good. There was also a cookie included,a napkin, and a wet napkin. Great food.

The last week of November I was attending training for my job. One of my coworkers suggested we go to Adams St Cafe for lunch. I am thankful we did and we visited twice during the week because it was so good! Everyone was so kind that worked there and the food was incredible. My first meal here was the Monte Cristo Panini (fantastic sandwich!) with delicious homemade chips. the second day I had a cup of cheese soup that was rich and filling. Definitely will eat here more often and recommend it to others.

Cute place! Went looking for Abe's Deli and was sorry to hear it had closed, so we crossed the street to this cafe. Pretty typical lunch menu: sandwiches, paninis, wraps. Fast service. The paninis were good but not quite big enough to share, and the homemade chips are good (seriously, why would you order a bag of chips there?). The cheesy cheeseburger soup was definitely cheesy, albeit light on the "burger." They heated up the cinnamon roll for us and it smelled soo good while we were eating. Tasted good, too!

Great, local, and fresh food provided for a personal catering as well as a work luncheon today. Highly recommend this place! Go check them out and support local.

cafe food... my preferred treat. Service is always timely even when they have a full house. Service is typically above par. The bill was average for the menu.

Friendly downtown spot serves tasty sandwiches salads burgers and more! My favorite is the Adams Street Combo sandwich which is something you just can't get at the chain sub stores. All of the breads here are fantastic. The house chips are the best in Peoria. I would recommend this as a place for a quick bite, business meetings, or even lunch date. loft area upstairs is a nice touch, although there is always plenty of seating. Expect to pay ~$10

I came in at around 1:10PM , 50 full minutes before their 2PM closing time and I ordered a steak burger. Unfortunately they had already "shut down the grill for the day", and had to order a cold sandwich. Very disappointing.
