This place is so rarely open I have yet to make it in. I have tried going about five times and it has always been closed, even during the limited window of time it is purportedly open. I have tried their pastries at events, which were good but a little dry, so I want to try them fresh.

This place is REALLY good. Also expensive compared to other places in the area but we felt it was worth the price. Our breakfast was almost $60 with tip for two people. My husband got a breakfast sandwich, loaded tots, and we each had a coffee, I had a chocolate croissant. Service was fast, friendly. It was busy on a Saturday morning .We didn't realize it was a full service restaurant when we came, but there is also a "quick serve" area at the entrance, where you order at the counter and they give you a number, and there are 4-5 tables, and about 10 seats at the kitchen bar you can sit at and eat after you get your food. There is also a third area in the back that was just a coffee and pastry counter - you could walk in and order to-go here. The set up was confusing but once you figure it out, I like the different options. The food was really beautiful and so delicious - my husband talked about his breakfast sandwich all day. Definitely try this spot out - but be prepared it is a bit pricey but well worth it.

This is easily the best quality cuisine we have had anywhere between St Louis and Chicago. The kohlrabi salad was unlike anything we have tried before and the carrot salad had a perfect cook and texture. Our entrees were perfect. Service seems a little understaffed but it was a full restaurant on a Saturday evening. I'm glad we spent some time talking with the general manager as well - lovely conversation. You don't have to go to Chicago, New York, or DC for top shelf dining.

One of a kind dining experience for the Peoria with offerings unlike many restaurants nearby. An inviting atmosphere blends together good service, uncommon food, and high standards to create a unique experience that doesn't fail to deliver. The quality did not subtract from the time to serve our table. A bakery is attached to the restaurant, providing the best bread I've found in the area. I enjoyed a delicious cheeseburger with frise and whole grain mustard, and took home the perfect focaccia and black raspberry brioche.Parking: Public parking is plentiful across the street toward the riverfront. 2hr free customer parking during the week, and daytime parking during weekend business hours and holidays.

Decided to try this place for my husband’s birthday breakfast after seeing all the hype online. Imagine the sticker shock of what’s pictured costing $50. Whoa. What “bothered” me the most was the staff. Our first time there, I guess I expected to be greeted warmly. Nope. We decided to sit at the bar and order at the counter. I told the employee it was our 1st time there and after looking at the menu for 15 seconds she asked “do you need more time?”. Yep, I do. I asked a couple of questions and she said “I don’t know, the menu just changed”. Ok? We were there 30+ minutes and not once did anyone ask how things were or if we needed more coffee or even smile as they walked by. Although the place is gorgeous, it became ugly for me. We won’t be back.

I went here for lunch on a weekday and was so disappointed with the service that I walked out. Let me explain, I waited a long time for service after being seated in the dining room, which is somewhat expected because they were busy. The menu recently changed and the waitress couldn't explain it well when she did arrive. So, we needed a moment to look over the menu some more. The menu was set up to order items by the individual or items by the table. That was unexpected, but we were not deterred (yet). However, it took her another 15 minutes before she came back to the table. I'm guessing she took so long because she didn't want to serve us and she continued to confuse us about the menu. Now 25 minutes in we still hadn't been able to place an order. So, I just decided to go with a burger. She said no, that suddenly those individual menu items were no longer available. I had enough and we walked out at that point. The whole situation was disrespectful towards my family, and a waste of my time. I have enjoyed their food in the past, and wanted to try it with my family; however, the message was clearly that they did not want to serve us. That's fair, they probably don't need my business. I just wish they told me that before I wasted 25 minutes of my life. The place across the street has a great lunch menu and everything was excellent, despite being also packed. Go there.

Food items were very good; however, you have to order everything at one time and the food all comes out at different times. Burger in 20 minutes, steak in 50 minutes. And you can only order one of five cocktails. No other cocktails available. The Manhattan cocktail was undrinkable: for some reason, a very strong orange color and taste. For Atmosphere, it feels like you're in a basement. Why didn't they restore the windows??

I have wanted for so long to make it to this place. My intention was only to get stuff from the bakery, but since the restaurant was open I decided to have breakfast too. It was amazing! The food was amazing, atmosphere was amazing. Even the little details (like the small vases with real flowers) were just perfect. I Will definitely go back again. I'm happy we have a place like that in Peoria!
