Avanti's Ristorante - N. Knoxville

We drove all the way from Texas to visit family. Our favorite place to eat is Avantis. We were informed the bread is no longer free. Which is fine. Its not expensive I'm happy to pay for the bread. But I was informed by our waitress that after 4 butters you have to pay for butter. In all my years alive I've never been charged for extra butter at a restaurant that serves bread. I'm so disappointed. When I brought this to the managers attention she said that was to keep your costs low. That's absurd. When your menus prices are similar to all other places in the area for pasta. Super disappointed with the service and charges. Next they will charge you for to go boxes for food you ate dine in. Such a shame.

Great food in a spacious location. Great service, too!

They packaged up 14 gondolas for me nicely for an event I was catering for and generally if you throw a ton at the kitchen staff they are mean but this kitchen staff was so friendly and inviting even with my huge order! Very much appreciated all their effort!

I love Avanti’s and Gina is the sweetest waiter ever I spilled something and she was so quick to clean it up and me just as kind to me even though I didn’t deserve it. They’re all extremely kind and welcoming this a great environment

Called in a grilled ham and cheese. Asked for well done. The ticket on the sandwich did not say well done so I think the phone person made an error, at least on rockwood it shows on the ticket. It was still ok, just wish they would have made it as requested especially since it was a simple order.

Once again I called in my order waited the allotted time and then drove to pick it up. I had to wait 20 minutes at the counter for my order to be ready when they found out it had been sitting and their hold cabinet the whole time I was there again. That's two times in a row. Maybe it's time to go to LA Gondola and enjoy their food!

This is the one place I always hit when I make it back to Peoria. The gondola is the staple at Avanti's. I had pizza bread deluxe which is also a very tasty treat.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant ever since I was a little child and I’ll never stop! I have never craved a cold sandwich the way I crave their Gondola. Their homemade sweet bread completes the whole sandwich filled with deli meat, cheese, and fresh lettuce, and it doesn’t matter if it’s toasted or cold, it’s ALWAYS fire. ❤️‍🔥 (It’s always worth buying one to eat and one to go because you’ll want another one soon after it’s gone! Hehe!)
