This place has really good Indian food! Maybe best in Peoria. Its a beautiful building...lacking in parking a little but its very worth it to go there.

Had a chance to go to Bay Leaf for a lunch meeting with an out of town friend. The food was awesome. Lots to choose from and a great selection. Good service and reasonably priced. I work downtown and will add this to my rotation.

Absolutely delicious food and amazing service!

Good food but very inconsistent with certain foods. Example: The Chicken Tikka frequently does not come with green chutney sauce, onions or lemons even though those should be parts of the dish. Even specifying to service that these items should be included doesn't help.

Outstanding Indian restaurant in the Maxam Building, on the stage of the old theater. Dinners are an incredible value, made fresh in house, and absolutely delicious. The naan is crisp on the outside, pillow soft on the inside. Service is warm and welcoming. Bar is separate from restaurant area, you may order and pay for drinks at the bar, then bring them to your table. Or enjoy a nightcap at the elegant bar!

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options here!

Waitress made amazing recommendations as well as giving us great information about the business as well as the chefs. Best indian food in peoria hands down. We will be back as often as possible!

We happened to stop by here since we were in the area and found this Indian restaurant. The location seems great however the food really disappointed us. I ordered South Indian food and the sambhar was cold. They attempted but didn’t hit the mark. Even the chicken item that we ordered wasn’t flavourful and the food overall missed the mark. While the server was nice and tried it felt they were shirt staffed. We had to request for water a few times. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place for the food, but if you want to hang out in a loft kind of setting with large windows and just get that feel, you could potentially be here but not for the food!

First time being in this place
I loved the atmosphere and the service they have .
I ordered butter chicken and it was ok but the rice portion was small and the chicken tasted like it was boiled separately or the butter didn’t taste in the chicken pieces
They didn’t taste like Indian food chicken
The butter was nice too

Having been to most restaurants in Peoria, we stumbled across Bay Leaf here on Google maps. What. A. Serendipitous. Find!
A great space with amazing food and creative drinks to accompany.
We had the Biryani, Saag and Samosa Chat and can highly recommend all of them.

Worth a stop in for something other than the typical horseshoe, tenderloin or steak. We'll be back again!

Wonderful service and amazing food! The spice level was perfect and the cocktails were great with our meal. The Mango Monk cocktail was sooo good, something I’ve never seen and I would definitely recommend !

We had a larger group and they were very accommodating. The waiter will ask you how spicy you want your food when ordering, I had medium spicy, and it was hot, but still delicious. They have goat, lamb, chicken, and vegetarian options.

So delicious! The chicken was especially tender. The spicy orange sauce was so good & the mint sauce was wonderfully sweet. The wait staff was inviting & helpful. The space is really nice, warm & smelled amazing. Incredibly pleased with our first visit & look forward to eating there again. Hope Bay Leaf thrives in Peoria for a long time to come.

The food was amazing, our personal favorite was the Paneer Butter Masala, but everything we ordered was flavorful and good spice level. Yeshu was very kind and helpful as well. Definitely recommend!!
