Oh dear not very good at all.Probably the worst Indian food we've ever encountered .For appetizers we ordered Samosas and Chilli Massala Fries. The Samosas just seemed to be your everyday frozen variety available in any Indian grocery store. Edible but certainly not memorable, the fries however were truly memorable but not for anything. Probably the worst thing we've ever been served in a restaurant the kitchen should have been totally embarrassed at its efforts. Our main dishes Chicken Chettindad and Lamb Karai were practically indistinguishable from each other. Basically a dark brown gravy devoid of any flavour. Totally unlike anything we've been served in any other Indian restaurant world wide.Service was painfully slow, the waitresses constantly apologizing for the delays . All in all it was pretty dire.

Delicious food. A little more heat would have been appropriate but the spice was very flavorful.Cute atmosphere. The veggie samosa were perfect. Definitely recommend. Just enter through the Maxium building

Best Indian food I’ve had since coming to Peoria and every bit as good and authentic as Chicago Indian restaurants. Little pricey for lunch but you get what you pay for. Will 100% be back for dinner.

Have not actually been there. I called for reservations and was spoken to quite rudely. It was same day so I was willing to be flexible and ask when they had an opening I was asked three more times with growing irritation what time I wanted. I explained we were flexible and finally just stated a time to which I was informed after all that the only time available was 8pm as they were booked the rest of the night; dude, all that and there was only one time available another! He could have just started that from the start of me asking when the next available reservation was! We decided they may have been having a high stress night and decided to go somewhere else. Also unsure how to rate this...

Indian is my favorite cuisine, and I say with no hesitation, Bollywood Bites is the best I’ve ever had. I wish I had taken photos of the entrees, but once they came out we were too busy diving in to think about taking our phones out! We started our meal with #9: Gabbar Gobi 65 Dry, which is a fried cauliflower appetizers that my party of three agreed could have been an entree. The flavors were phenomenal and you’d have a hard time telling that it’s a vegetable (yes, that good!). For entrees we went with #31: Bollywood Biryani (which is a screaming deal at $14), #52: Rangeela Lamb Rogan Josh (the blend of spices is sophisticated and elegant), and #63: Hariyali Chicken (we did our best to break the chicken down to small bites so we could savor it for as long as possible).I’ve lived in Peoria for almost two years now and can’t believe that I’m just now becoming a patron of Bollywood Bites. I will be back, with every friend and family member I can gather.

Got takeout from here! Had the tikka masala and butter chicken. Both absolutely excellent, chicken cooked to perfection! Will be coming back again! The inside was very nicely decorated as well

This is my third time visiting and the service has been very poor. We have never gotten what we order because they make mistakes. They make mistakes, don't want to own up to it, and they fail to correct the mistakes when they have the opportunity.Communication between the front of the house, wait staff, kitchen, and customer is non-existent.We had a 5:15pm reservation, and I just left there at 7:00pm without any food. The server completely neglected us, the person managing the front desk did not seem to care when we informed her that we had been waiting for over an hour and half, and after waiting another half hour without any appetizer, we left.Completely ruined our Valentine's Day.

Bollywood baited was disappointing. Our group of 3 was on time for a 5:30pm reservation and we placed our order by 5:45pm. We did not receive our food until 6:45pm and that was only after asking the status as we had to leave for a show at 7:15. We ordered a Karahi chicken, bihari kabob, chicken noodle and garlic naan. The food was sub par - the Bihari kabob was dry, the karahi chicken did not taste how the dish is intended and the noodles had a strange smell. Only three naan was good. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who is familiar with how desi food should taste.

Large variety of excellent Indian food. The restaurant is in the Maxam building, and is very clean and new. The service is always excellent - we usually have the same server and he's very knowledgeable and friendly. Every server has gone out of their way to explain the different dishes and, since I can't take a lot of heat in my food, they're good at letting me know the degree of spiciness in each dish.
