Always delicious, always pretty quick. Small but really pleasant interior; there’s a chalk wall you can write on, and there’s usually something good on TV. Little snacks for sale at the counter, too. It’s just a fantastic local spot.

Food was bomb I wish they would’ve gave me a red salsa with my birria pizza but it was still good. Service was okay cashier was borderline rude gave the energy that he didn’t even wanna be there or he just was having a bad day which is something you should hold in and just smile and make your customers feel welcomed…atmosphere was amazing and very authentic definitely will be back for the food.

The cashier seems somewhat disinterested.Taco shells were soft from being saturated in oil(?). Poblano tamales were all corn and a very thin strip of poblano running through the tamale. No heat or flavor except the corn. Very disappointing.There is no heat in the eating area. The door kept sticking and staying open.Drink prices are high. No refills when eating in. You have to keep buying cans or bottles. Yet saw people carry out taking large drink cups with meals.Heard great things about the place. Maybe just a bad night. So, I will try a few more times to see.

favorite Mexican spot in town which is saying a lot because that’s Peoria’s best cuisine in my opinion. may even be my favorite lunch spot, period. everything I’ve had at Cuco’s tastes authentic, fresh and perfect flavor/texture/proportions. It’d be amazing if they could expand and/or move at some point but for now the tight quarters and even sketchier neighborhood is part of the charm anyway. Chicken nachos, Al pastor tacos, guac — all 10/10. Don’t miss this place.
