The coffee is incredible. They roast their own and offer flavors unlike any others I've seen in the area. They usually have vegan-friendly pastries and whatever milk will suit your fancy for a drink. The main sitting area is very chic and cozy. There are spots outside as well as a little nook inside if you need a quieter area to sit. As for the service, i absolutely love these people. They're so friendly and welcoming, and don't just flat out ignore you if you aren't ordering like some cafes do. It's in a beautiful historic building that always gives me inspiration whenever i go there to get work done.

I go here for my usual 16oz Fr Vanilla iced latte with half and half at least once a week. Lately I have been charged any where from $5.66 to $6.77. Same drink same size. I asked and was told it was charge for the half and half. Last Thursday National Coffee Day they tried to charge me $7.00 for the same drink and size. Seriously ? I will not go back until prices are consistent. I can get the same drink and size for $4.49 at Dunkin and Starbucks.

I work downtown and go here at least once a week. I order the same thing when I go, 16oz Fr Vanilla Latte with half and half. Depending who was working the counter I would get charged differently each time. $5.66 one day or $6.77 the next. I asked one day and was told I was being charged for the half and half. Ok fine, BUT today I go there and order the same drink and they wanted to charge me $7.00 for a 16oz??? Starbucks and Dunkin charge $4.49 for the same drink and size. I go to CXT to support local. But today was probably my last day. The gentleman today fixed me up and I was charged $5.00. I think you Managers better circle back because no one will pay $7.00 for a 16oz iced latte.

This coffee bar (cafe) has a very advantageous location in the downtown area of the city, on Main Street. [CxT] Roasting Company (aka Coffee by Tristan) was established in Peoria in 2016, and since then it has become very popular. It's a very modern, convenient, quality place to have a cup of fresh roasted coffee, and a snack. The Daily Brew I ordered was very tasty, and the Sage Treat of a 3-pack Almond Chocolate Power Balls (GF, dairy free and refined sugar free) was totally delicious and healthy: all the ingredients in this treat were organic. Particularly memorable was a very amiable and attentive service by the well-trained staff -- Cody and Sly -- who were all politeness, friendliness and pleasure to talk to. The coffee bar has a casual ambiance, it's sharply -- and not overly -- decorated. Metered parking is available on the street, just outside the cafe. There were not too many people in the cafe at that afternoon hour, but I understood, they were all regular guests. I would certainly become one, too -- convenient location, excellent coffee, delicious snacks, superb service! Thanks much and see you soon!
