Interesting place with a very eclectic menu. I tried several appetizers and ordered the burger for my entree. Nothing was bad but nothing was particularly special or tasty, which was disappointing based on the costs.
The food was very good, but a bit expensive.
My girlfriend and I decided to celebrate our one year anniversary at Cyd’s. We had heard good things and thought it would be a nice change of pace. Our server was fantastic and the atmosphere was exceptional. However, there was a glaring issue that soured my entire experience. There is a menu item called the Weekend Special. It’s a basted steak served with potatoes. Pricing wise, it is just listed as “market”. I naturally expected it to be more expensive than the other meals, but when the bill came I was shocked to find it was the most expensive thing on the whole menu, more than double the price of most of the other items at $58. Granted, I should have clarified this with my server, so the fault is on me. That being said, I did not receive a 58 dollar steak. I was appalled to find a fillet on my plate barely bigger than my fist, and the remaining 80% of the platter filled by lightly salted potatoes. You could get more value for your money anywhere else in town. If you want a genuinely filling steak 3 times larger at a cheaper price, go to Longhorn. To conclude, due to the pitiful portion size and deceitful pricing, I will not be returning anytime soon.
Nice to bring someone for a relaxing queit talk, walk....play date etc... It's Nice. Love it there.
Worst burger in Peoria. Ordered medium, charred black and cooked well done! No flavor and dry as beef jerky. Won’t be back for food.
Great little restaurant tucked into beautiful surroundings. Food was delicious, not the kind of thing you'll find every day.
Went to go for lunch because Google said it was open, but they are closed through 1/7. Sad I didn't get to try it.
Had the Squash Ravioli! Amazing, melt in your mouth goodness. And with it had the mulled wine - perfect fall dinner and drink! Service was excellent!

Ok food, nice atmosphere. Nickle and dime you with split check fees AND automatic gratuity over 5 ppl though. Decent but unremarkable, probably won't be going back as there are better local options.

SO overpriced for what you get. i went to dinner with my boyfriend and some family and none of our meals were good/flavorful. i spent almost $30 on just salmon and vegetables (literally) and it was the most flavorless dish i’ve had in awhile. they literally charged my partner $24 for a VEGGIE burger. i think you just pay for the view of the park but these kinda prices in peoria, for what you get, are WILD. our server also randomly disappeared after taking our orders and then popped up at the end of our meal to say “sorry i disappeared” lmfao

Great atmosphere and good food
I am so glad we didn’t listen to the negative reviews. I’ve wanted to try this place forever, but we nearly didn’t after we read all the recent griping. We loved everything — the atmosphere, the wine, the snack tray, and the shrimp pasta. The staff were warm and prompt, and our little guy played with the outdoor wooden blocks for so long that we almost felt that we were on a date. After dinner, we sat by the fire pit for awhile. The menu was interesting — not a boring tourist menu — and we want to return to try more. I agree with the reviewer who says coming here feels like a vacation. Thanks Cyd’s!
Kid-friendliness: The stylish and interactive block towers in the courtyard completely occupied our four-year-old while we relaxed. It looks like a grown-up place, but worked just fine for a kid. We skipped the kid menu and shared our snack tray with him, to his delight.
