Go get this pizza before it's gone! Firehouse has the best pizza in Peoria and the ONLY Detroit style pizza in the area. BUT, the restaurant is clearly struggling. The East Peoria Crust location closed, but Knoxville stayed consistent for a year or two. Nowadays, they are only open 5 days a week for 2-4 hours at a time. Twice we've showed up on Saturday night during posted business hours and they've been closed due to a lack of staff. I hope the owners can keep this place going....read full review

Pizza always wonderful when it was fresh but me and my brother came in right about at 1pm when it was the end of lunch buffet the man working was really nice! Then knowing we was getting what was left it wasn't the best pizza I have had there but the desert pizza I had was horrible! Like hard as a rock...granted it was late for the lunch but if it's no longer any good probably should of just got rid of it before someone like me takes a big bit!ðŸ˜“

Wow. Incredible deep dish pizza. My family and I agreed, this pizza was as good as any we have ever had. Perfect crust, finished off with garlic butter and parmesan. Sweet sauce that we loved. Fresh vegetables, the onions were actually sweet. Well balanced, juicy sausage. Who can ask for anything more?
