The food was really great. Homemade, with a smile. I got the wings and mac and cheese and both were excellent. I also ordered a strawberry lemonade - and it was delicious. Maybe worth a walk just for the lemonade! We will be back. Great little lunch spot. Support small businesses!
The BEST catfish, sides, and service. The woman who runs the place is super nice and definitely cooks with love. The catfish was perfect, she makes her own batter and the spaghetti was flavorful and sweet. 10/10 recommend
The location in the mall is really small, only run by one lady at least when I went. So, naturally, slow service. Bout 20-30 minute wait on my order.
But I know a good soul spot when I see one.
And good LORD that food is good. Friend and I got meatloaf. I got it with mac, him with the yams. So good. As satisfying as soul food gets. Tipped a whole 10 bucks just for how good it was on top of a 20%. Worth it for sure.
