Went for lunch with my wife. Food came fast and was fresh and hot. Only criticism is that the chips seemed burnt. But my tacos were delicious and the rice and beans were good too. My wife said her burrito was good too. We've been here many times, it's always solid.

Just went there today and first time here and I have to say, this is hands down my new favorite Mexican restaraunt! The food isn’t salty at all and has the perfect amount of spice, salt, and seasonings. (Usually most Mexican restaraunts I been to, are a bit too salty for me no shade). Their food has a really fresh and clean texture feeling and taste when you bite into it. It almost felt like it is fresh from a garden and I love it! Will def be a repeating customer! Waitress was super nice and attentive too! She refilled our drinks even when we didn’t ask and it was going low! She deserves a raise. You should def give it a try. Atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and I Love the decorations on the inside and outside and everything about it. Def 5 stars and above! they have the best guacamole I’ve ever tasted too! And the main big dishes there too

Our waiter was very good and friendly. But, the food was tasteless and over priced. It was a huge disappointment!! My husband got sick and vomited from the burrito grande. The chips were stale . We won’t be back. It was a huge waste of our money!

Go to El Taco Loco on Lake/Sheridan instead. Don’t waste your time here, it’s gone way down hill since they opened nearly 20 years ago. Way overpriced, mediocre food these days. Charging $3.75 for individual street tacos? Ridiculous. Tortillas, chicken, cilantro, and onions? Please. This is Peoria, IL, not a foodie destination in NYC. I commented to the owner about this obvious robbery and he said “then go to Taco Bell”. Nice.
