The guy that greeted me was super cool and friendly. I've been looking for a real authentic Mexican tamale like I used to get in the Rio grande valley. This was not it. So, i gave 4 stars. This is a Midwestern tamale but with extra chilli seasonings and what seemed like real hamburger meat. I got the beef tamales. One thing that was good was it wasn't overloaded with masa. It had just the right amount of masa and plenty of meat. If these guys ever figured out to use chunks of meat, cheese, onion, peppers, and things like that instead of ground up meat..they would have a badass tamale. But, it's just a seasoned up Midwestern tamale. My search for authentic Mexican tamales in Peoria, continues on..oh, and 3 tamales for $6 was a very good price. I did eat all three and they did fill me up. It's good for the area.

Great service and amazing Delta style tamales! If you haven’t stopped by and grabbed some, you need to! Picked up a dozen beef and a dozen chicken, spot on! Four adults and theres only 3 tamales left lol! Enjoy!
