Jimador Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Peoria is a hidden gem! Their prices are hard to beat, especially in this economy, and the value you get for your meal is outstanding. We absolutely love their enchiladas—full of flavor and always cooked to perfection. Whether we're dining in or grabbing takeout, the food is consistently delicious.
The portions are generous, and the service is always friendly and efficient. It's become one of our go-to spots whenever we're craving authentic Mexican food. If you're looking for great food at an affordable price, Jimador is definitely the place to go!

This place serves a phenomenal ‘Arroz Con Pollo’ dish!
I am from Tennessee, where the dish was most commonly listed as ‘Pollo Loco’ on the menu , so when I moved to the Midwest, I spent months trying to find a place that, first, has the dish, and second, does the dish justice, and boy, when I tell you, ‘Jimador has nailed it,’ they have done just that.
It’s always super fresh, well seasoned, perfectly proportionate, and consistently delicious.
The only hangup is that, like most restaurants that prepare their corn chips on site, getting fresh chips can sometimes be a gamble.
However, fear not, as of the 10 or so times that I have ordered the dish for takeout, I have only been served stale chips maybe twice, if that.
Otherwise, these guys would have a solid 5 star rating in my book.

Love the food!!! My only hang up is that the prices seem to fluctuate randomly, not by much but still???Not enough to stop me from going on a monthly basis though!!

good food nice clean restaurant. if it had some slot machines would be set. Staff if nice and helpful price is right what you would expect.
Parking: there usually spots open unless you go a a rush lunch dinner weekends its a shopping center well most every thing is food so it fills up and peak meal times

Hands down, my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Peoria metro area and I’d say I’ve tried most, if not all. Fast, friendly and professional service every time. I’ve been here multiple times and can say it’s never been anything short of delicious. Very fair prices, great portion sizes, prompt service and a great atmosphere are the reasons I always love coming back. Pictured here is the Chori Pollo and Birria Tacos. Absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend!!!!

i went in to pick up my call in order i payed for my food and the women at the register told me my food wasn’t ready to i waited. i seen a bad sitting on the counter where they cook at . i sat there for 45 minutes for them to bring me that same bag that was sitting there since i got there so i asked them to remake my food because it was cold & sitting there for 30-45 minutes . the women did not tell them so i was there for another 10 minute i finally got a chance to talk to some else and she took the bag of food & came back within 5 minutes. i opened the food & all she did was heat it up in the microwave something i couldn’t did at home if i didn’t want FRESH food . btw i eat jimadors often & NEVER had this experience. i am HIGHLY upset & disappointed
