Food was very good, had the Prime Rib Steak. The waitress was so disrespectful to our private party. Snappy and disrespectful, gas lighting, talking down and rude. I attend different group meetings here and the staff should be ashamed. If your going to act like this, then maybe customer service is not your calling.

What a disappointment! The entrees were very bad. First meal was a filet ordered medium, first cut showed a bloody pink with an almost raw center. Second diner ordered the ribeye sandwich, which he discreetly spit out twice unable to chew the meat. I ordered the au gratin potatoes, hash browns smothered in a sour cheese-like sauce, which I stopped eating after 2 bites and chicken Alfredo fettuccine. Who knew you could make a sauce with simple ingredients like butter, cream and Parmesan and make it so bland! Chicken was chewy, the whole plate a waste of money. Now , the 2 stars! The first for the French onion soup which was delicious. The 2nd star for our waiter, Nanette, who was covering at least 6-7 tables and still did it efficiently, timely and with a friendly personality. She was the rock star that night, certainly not the food.

Salad, steak, and baked potato done well. If you enjoy blue cheese they have a house made roquefort that is very good. Tons of crumbles on the salad.
Wonderful dinner.

We had lunch today with four at our table. Understaffed waitress tryed hard too many tables for one person. The food was as bad as it gets: French Onion Soup way to salty, mashed potatoes instant,Reuben, burgers, french fries, tenderloin terrible!!!! We have been coming here for years will give them one more chance as they say anyone can have a bad day! We will find out! I found out you have a new chef and the complaints are through the roof! We are done eating there and all I have to say is Good Bye and Good luck! Very Disappointing to say the least! The French Onion Soup was too salty to eat, what is wrong with them! You serve terrible food and people won't come back!
My husband and I came here for our anniversary. The service was slow and it did feel like we were not a priority since we are on the younger side. I ordered the prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The prime rib was salty and bland and cooked more on the medium side when I had asked for medium rare. The asparagus was undercooked and the mashed potatoes we dry and lumpy. The atmosphere was very dark and dated. This place is well past it's hay day. All in all it was just mid and overpriced for what it was.

I don’t even know where to start! We were planning an early surprise party for my Mothers 80th birthday! It was just going to be small with my sibling and our families! We asked about being able to decorate a little and to our surprise, the Lariat set us up in the small meeting room up front! This allowed us to decorate a little more! Since this was a surprise, we asked the people at the hostess station to help us out! They were all in! When my mother arrived, early and suspicious, the host sprung into action and guided her into the private room where we all were waiting for the surprise! They went above and beyond all expectations! Because of The Lariat Team, this was a dream surprise celebration! Our server Sam was just amazing as well!!! Thank You to the Lariat Team! Forever grateful!

I try not to write negative reviews because there can be so many factors that make one experience at a business bad but that is not the norm. However, that being said this was not a situation where I can even say that. The highlight of our dinner was the very dimmly lit buffalo head over the mantle. From there things went downhill. Our server was friendly, if a little bit over zealous at times and not there at times we wished he was. As the building has several rooms it was impossible to flag him down if he wasn't in the room. The service was good overall however. That's where the positive ends. My partner ordered the full slab rib dinner (34.99)with garlic mashed potatoes, I ordered the ribeye smaller portions (39.99) also with the garlicky mashed and we shared an appetizer of onion rings. I knew we were probably not going to have the best dinner when the onion rings came out so grease laden that I was able to squeeze it out of the breading on the onion rings. They were however fresh cut onions and fresh battered just slightly undercooked and extremely greasy. Next came the main course. The ribs were indeed tender but lacked flavor throughout the rib and was overwhelmed by the abundance of barely warm BBQ sauce that was globbed on the meat without any thought to glazing them or to the fact that it would literally fall off the ribs instead of sticking to them. My ribeye was very small for the price point and while I will say it was cooked as ordered it had nearly no seasoning or marinade flavoring except one small portion which appeared to have all the flavor in one small 1 by 2 inch spot. It had the consistency of and strongly reminded me of the steaks we used to get at Ponderosa or Bonanza. It left me whole unsatisfied. Hoping that the mashed potatoes would make up for the lack I found myself deeply disappointed in Luke warm mostly and straight cold in some spots mashed potatoes that did have a good consistency but no garlic flavor to the garlic mashed, My partner suffered a similar fate and I can tell you this ..if there is food left on his plate at the end of a meal it was either a very large portion or it was very bad food ...and this was not a portion thing. As someone who has no issues dropping my hard earned money on a good meal, this experience left me disappointed in pretty much every way. The building was pretty but it was not worth over 100 dollars to have to hit up McDonald's on the way home so my partner wasn't hungry! Try one of the big chain steakhouses you will have a better experience.
Was her for an awards banquet. Very good food.
Great food for years.
