Le Bakery is an absolute gem—like stumbling on a secret pastry vault in the middle of the Midwest. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill donut-and-danish shop. Their croissants are next-level—especially the pistachio (grab it if you see it!) and the strawberry, which is equally dreamy.
They’ve got it all: donuts, cakes, pies, and honestly, probably whatever pastry you just imagined. They also supply pastries to several coffee shops around town, so if you've had a heavenly bite elsewhere, it might’ve come from here.
The staff was polite, helpful, and just genuinely kind. Bonus: there’s a 50% off rack for day-old pastries that still taste like a win. If you’re anywhere nearby, go. If you’re not—go anyway.

As well as sweets, they have a lovely menu for a quick and healthy lunch while on the go or for a quaint sit and bite. Our family loves going here and is always welcomed by the great staff and wonderful owners. They did our wedding cake (the tiramisu) and several birthdays over the years!

I stumbled upon this wonderful bakery today! It is truly the best bakery I’ve been to in Central Illinois. My bar is high when critiquing French bakeries as my family owns and operates an outstanding one in Connecticut. The presentation, service and selection were excellent. I plan on making the hour drive each way to visit Le Bakery as the weather clears up.

I was very surprised LeBakery. The inside is half bakery and half cafe. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you (self-seating). The ambiance is nice, clean, and modern and the food was delicious, not to mention one of the better cups of coffee I've had around town in a while. There were lots of food options, some unique salads and sandwiches that you don't see often. My panini had zucchini on it, who does that? This place does and it was delicious lol. Anyway, I'll be coming back again.

We engaged LeBakery to provide goodies for our wedding reception, based on the suggestion of our reception venue owner. We were not disappointed! We sat down with Jenny at LeBakery and described what we were after. She made so many helpful (and, might I add, 'delicious') suggestions for our event. LeBakery ended up supplying everything from charcuterie and hot dips to cookies, pastries, cheesecakes and fruit tarts for 100 people. It was literally a one-stop shop for us. Jenny even made us a tiramisu for our brunch the next day. Everything was beyond delicious - 'other worldly' would probably be a better description. The photos speak for themselves.

My girlfriend showed me Le Bakery a couple weeks ago, and I've been back three times since. It's a relaxing atmosphere and the food is very good, I can't wait to branch out and try even more. And the custom cakes are beautiful, I bought one for Friendsgiving and it went over great! Also, you have to try the potatoes!
