I bought the double chilli dogs, chilli cheese fries and a strawberry shake. Everything I bought I was very happy with. Once you start eating the fries it's hard to stop

Super cool retro drive through with great homemade rootbeer and amazing double cheeseburgers. Plus the cleanest Drive In ever.

So not being from the area I just happened to drive by and thought that looks like my kind of place. You walk up to the window and I ordered a double cheeseburger basket with a “large coke” roughly $16 which I thought was a bit high but whatever. I had a wait of about 5 minutes to get my food which is totally on par for what I would expect. Food finally came out. The burger was decent not great and the fries were way over cooked and crunchy. Because their “large” soda was small by any other standard I asked for a refill and was told that they don’t do refills or you would have to pay for another one….Really…. So for $16 I left mildly unsatisfied and won’t be back. Too many other places to go.

So I ordered the fish sandwich. Pretty sure it was a great value fish fillet because it certainly wasn’t worth the money next time I want a fish sandwich I’ll go to Culver’s. And it was overcooked.

Drove from Creve Cour to have dinner just to find out they closed early due to the heat. Their online presence is non existent so the only way to know is to drive there. Not sure why they can't update a FB page or Google to let people know. I have never been there and will likely never try again.
Haven’t been to Lou’s since new owners took over. What a disappointment. The hot dogs were not good quality. Hardly any chili on them. The fries were cold. The tamales were 3 bites big for $3.40. The root beer was flat, did not taste like root beer. Super sweet colored water. No root beer taste at all. Remember Lou’s from years ago. Grandkids always asked to go there. Well, we won’t be back. Cost is too high for quality. Can’t say they were so busy that counted for poor quality. There were 2 people there besides our table of 4. If owners don’t change something they won’t be in business in another year.
It cost 16.00 for 2 hot dogs (I guess that's what there were) and an order of fries and 2 root beers. I must say I have NEVER seen a hot dog that looked peach in color with no taste, and cost so damn much! As for the root beer, it was great and we should have just stopped with our at the root beer. What a waste of money and time. 🤷♀️

Not sure what happened to the quality of food here, ordered a tenderloin basket, the bun was just about as big as the so called tenderloin (looked like a fritter ) food is now put in a paper sack, the order was for eating here no longer get a tray to put your food on, had to use napkins, paid $35.00 for 2 baskets, one with a shake ,Very disappointed, will be A LONG time before I'd think about eating here again
