Tasty barbecue..some of the best I’ve had in awhile! Their catfish is very good as well. My husband had the ribs and they are so tender. If you are not from Peoria the restaurant is located in the mall. The employees are very nice and helpful. We will be back!
After the renovation, Smo-King Pit opened the doors again, and now guests can enjoy a new look and a new interior design of this restaurant: it is very nicely appointed, has several seating areas, that are very spacious indeed, and the tables are placed quite distantly. The restaurant specializes in BBQ ribs, but the menu is vast, and has many other dishes (pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken, catfish, various sandwiches, combo meals, etc), and it also has kids menu. I ordered...
The Catfish is cooked just right, the chicken wings are nicely seasoned, the ribs are nice and tender. I go almost every Sunday for my family dinner. The service is great and they make you feel at home. Just a sweet atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant. Love the food and service.
