The service was great, the food was good, the margaritas were weak, warm, and overpriced.
I came from mid east-south Texas.... the Hawaiian Chicken, better than South!
Service was great as well!
Love it!
We overnighted in Peoria on our Trans North America (Maryland to Jasper National Park) overland road trip and had lunch here. The food was excellent, the prices quite reasonable, the staff friendly and the ambience nice and warm, and clean. We were happy to have stopped here for a bite.

If I could give zero stars, that’s exactly what they would get! Service was horrible! The waitress took our drink order, brought our drinks, and never came back for our order. My husband tried getting someone’s attention 3 times, and he was ignored. Horrible service and there were no more than 10 patrons in the restaurant .

The food is always amazing and the staff is super friendly. I have yet to find another restaurant where the quality of food and service stays consistent.
Once I ate here, I never went to another Mexican restaurant. It was love at first bite! The kitchen always does a great job keeping my meal gluten free. I have celiac so gluten free is mandatory, they have always taken the best care of me and have always been happy to make sure my food is safe.
Our kids also love the food and actually eat their veggies here. The oldest actually wants her birthday dinner here, can’t wait.

Id like to start by saying the food and salsa is delicious and authentic. The salsa is some of the beat I’ve had at restaurant. Service was good but could have been more attentive with refilling drinks. Atmosphere makes you feel like you entered a legit mexican restaurant. I would recommend anyone looking for mexican food to come here.

I meant to leave a review when we went, which was in July. But this place probably has the best Mexican food that we have ever had! We drove in from Alabama, on our way to Colorado, and stayed at the travel Lodge hotel right next to this restaurant. The hotel – absolutely horrible. But the food here, so freaking good! Definitely go! It is NOT Tex-Mex ??
Kid-friendliness: I saw no reason that kids would not be totally fine there! There's a lot of really cool colors and things to look at too!

Our waiter was super cool. Giving us some Spanish words to learn. The service efficient and well timed. Our food was tasty, especially the queso. The chips were a little harder than I like but no complaints for the price. Lol.
