Sandwiches are pricey ($14 and up) and do not come with a side. The size of the appetizers is small. They do have good garlic parmesan fries and boneless wings, but that's about it. $16 for a small grilled chicken sandwich, no side. Margaritas aren't great either.

This place used to be so much better.

I attended a private party on the back patio. Service, restrooms, area: all average for a neighborhood bar. I had a good time!

Was surprised to find out that they have a vegan menu featuring bar favorites: Philly cheese steak, taco salad, sweet potato fries, etc.

This is one of those places where you feel welcome. Everyone is so friendly. Add to this the numerous vegan options and this has turned into one of the best spots to hang out in Peoria. Oh, and it’s not just a bunch of vegan options. It’s a bunch of really good vegan options!

Warm and inviting, love the brick and the wood features, and the lighting was kind. It was clean, and they had free live entertainment, which I appreciate. Waitress was cordial and prompt.Had a 7 dollar grilled cheese with bacon. It was 2 pairs of white bread, 2-3 pieces of what i believe was cheddar, and 2 less than impressive pieces of bacon that tasted like what i imagine recycled plastic tasted like and it was served in a paper bowl/boat? (Not sure what to call it). Wound have gotten the Chicken wrap, but it was 16 dollars ala carte.Would come back again, but would not order the food again.05/12/24- Addendum- Received a response from management about the review. They offered some explanations about the food situation, and offered me a free meal. I will not be redeeming the meal, it’s not necessary, I just appreciate the response from them! It shows that they pay attention, care, and take things seriously. Changed the review ratings to reflect accordingly. Thanks MD’s!!

My boyfriend, our 14 year old son, and I decided to try this place for the first time this past Friday 3/29/24. We walked in around 8:15ish, sat ourselves at a dining table, and our waitress came over and took our order. She gave us our drinks and our mozzarella sticks, which were pretty good. About 50 or so minutes go by, we stood up to play a game of darts (which was right next to our table), and who I believe was the manager, or assistant manager, came over to us and told us that we needed to finish our game and leave because children aren't allowed in there after 9pm. However, they're kitchen was open until 9:45. We had called ahead of time to find that out. My boyfriend told him that's fine, but we're waiting for food. The guy proceeded to walk away, and as he was walking away, he said, "Oh, well, you are going to have to take that to-go then." The waitress was apologetic and claimed she did not know children couldn't be in there past 9pm, otherwise she would have told us. Before the food came out, he went up to the waitress at the bar and asked if they were preparing our food for to-go, and she said yes, and apologized again. My boyfriend told her that we don't want the food to-go and aren't going to pay for it because we did not order it to-go, plus we lived 40 minutes away and the food would not be fresh by the time we got home. I'm sure everyone knows how good food is after it's been sitting in styrofoam containers for so long (sarcasm). He made a smart comment about how the food was almost done and that we could eat it in the car. My boyfriend once again told him no, we aren't paying for this food that we ordered for dine-in because not once did anybody tell us our son couldn't be in there, plus the food won't be fresh. He made another smart comment saying that he can guarantee the food will be hot and fresh. He also tried making the argument that they are a tavern, but if you look it up, there isn't a law stating that adults can't bring their children into bars or taverns, only that they can't sit at the bar, obviously. I understand that businesses have their own rules, but this "rule" is not posted on their website or on the front of their establishment. He ended with saying he won't charge us for the food but we do have to pay for the drinks and mozz sticks, which we planned on paying for anyway. I would have understood and paid for the food if there was a notice of some sort stating no children allowed past 9pm, but because of the fact that there wasn't, and he was very rude and condescending to us throughout the whole ordeal, and trying to think of anything to say to make us pay for it, it ended the way that it did. Instead of trying to figure out another solution, he decided that the better alternative was to lose $40-$60 worth of food. And as I'm thinking about it, we have been to a couple of other bar and grills after 9 and not once were we told that. In the end, it's pretty disappointing because we were looking forward to their food. Also, keep in mind that we never got out of hand and my boyfriend didn't raise his voice. He only spoke in a matter-of-fact tone. Now, I refuse to go back because of how he thought it was acceptable to treat customers.
