Opening hours are from 11am-10:30pm, my family & I arrived at 11:05 and the doors were still locked. Around 11:10 the manager came to the door and unlocked the door, once we entered we weren't greeted or told where we should sit. The manager apologized eventually and acknowledged they had a big order, but this shouldn't disregard or excuse the quality of service we received.

A late lunch in Monical's Pizza turned out to be a combo of a dine-in and take-out order. The restaurant has a lunch menu, offering all kinds of Italian meals -- sandwiches, pastas, pizzas. It is a very casual restaurant, the order and payment are taken at the counter, the meal is serviced in the dining area. Take out orders are also popular. I decided to have a quick bite in the restaurant (Garden Salad) and ordered a 14" Florentine Thin Crust Pizza to go. Restaurant wasn't busy at that afternoon hour, I was offered to choose a seat at my convenience: the booth, dim-lighted, was just right and comfortable. The restaurant doesn't serve hot drinks (even in winter), the salad was quite tasty, and later Florentine pizza was timely ready and packed to go. The total came to $34.39, which these days is considered appropriate. Service was good -- polite and friendly, ordering at the counter gave me the feeling, that I was in the fast food place. Florentine Pizza was good, but not great, though. Anyway, since it was a very busy -- and a very cold -- day, I was glad, that I found Monical's Pizza, that was open at that late hour. Parking is free, in front of the restaurant.

From a bad experience lass than a week ago, to a great one yesterday was well needed after a long week. Fresh food and perfect service right when we walked in with our millions of hungry kids. James had our area ready to go! Alicia was just what we needed. She came and checked on us, drinks bottomless, small talk was there. You all reminded me why that location is my favorite.
I hope Robin(server) can get on the same page as it will take her far. Good things come to those who try.
You guys are great and what people look for in staff. I know...as I'm a recruiter for OSF! Ever need a side position, look me up! But my family certainly appreciated your time and friendliness and service. God bless you.

Ordered online and when I got there the price was almost $8 lower than I was expecting, apparently they utilized a couple of coupons I didn't know were available. That my friends is what I call Customer Service ?? So I paid the same amount as I planned and told the gentleman thanks and to keep the change as a tip. ?

When it comes to Monical's in Peoria, Illinois, everybody talks about the one up on top of the hill.
However, if I may, instead, let's talk about the one on the corner of Knoxville and Lake.
So you want pizza in a quiet atmosphere that's family friendly and you want awesome stuff to boot, this place has it.
You want the manager and the waiter to treat you like an actual human being, and they actually have a minute or two to talk to you about some things, whether it be your order or not? This place has it.
You got a group of 15 and you just want to take them out to a big dinner and pizza sounds like a great idea this place has room for that in fact the day that I went there was actually three groups large groups of people in there one was celebrating a birthday. This place has that.
As a matter of fact, there's only one other Monical's in Central Illinois that I would put on par with this one, and that's saying something. Everybody brags about the one out of the shops at Grand Prairie. Yeah, yeah , yeah yeah yeah yeah whatever. Yeah, they've got Flash, and they're a newer store, but what they don't have is the ability to go the extra mile and treat you like family. That's the one there on the corner of Knoxville, and Lake does.
Whether you take your 5-year-old here for their birthday or you take your girl here for that first time date or you're taking that special business meeting because you got to land that account, this place does that trust me when I say this you'll be happy you came here instead.
