I usually love this place. The food always tastes delicious and I really like the drink menu.However, 4 stars only because tonight I ordered to go I could clearly tell they had made the hot food first and it was very cold. Also, the sushi rolls were delicious but so loosely wrapped the insides were almost falling out.I will still come back but just wanted to put this out there.

Thoroughly disappointed in how long I waited for a take out order. It was not busy in the restaurant at all, and my order was placed at 7:07p. At 7:45p I was still waiting for my sushi until the bartender next store came in to voice that I had been waiting so long. Got home to pretty small rolls compared to our normal spot. Wanted to love this place given the location and friendly staff, but very upset with the long wait and underwhelming rolls.

Novu was absolutely phenomenal! The atmosphere was modern, classy, and beautiful. And the sushi was creative, with delicious choices of ingredients that impressed my guest and I! The best around here, I can't wait to go back!

Their posted hours are incorrect. They are closed for lunch during the summer. Very disappointed to drive up to Junction City to find my time was wasted due to a lack of an update by the business!

We had a great experience here. Delicious cocktails, unique atmosphere, and gorgeous looking presentation on the sushi make this place one to try. They have more than just the typical California roll, featuring many different specialty rolls. The server was friendly and professional making sure we were taken care of but not overwhelmed.

Me and my girlfriend got a reservation for prom one night and came in about ten minutes early and got seated immeadiately. They already had our menus down and our table was ready for us. We both thought that that was a good touch. We sat down and the server said that someone would be there in a little bit. We sat there for 15-20 minutes and realized that no one, Came to help us order or even give us drinks. I jokingly resorted to drinking the soy sauce. We sat and sat and even after I started glaring at the waiters they still did nothing. The restaurant was only about half full (the restaurant is pretty small too). Me and my girlfriend went here originally because we thought it was more upscale than our usual sushi restaurant. It was very nice inside but this first experience turned me off completely. Also the menu was kind of small. Our usual place had lots of variety and actually waits on us.
Love the sushi but we were unaware that they used peanut oil till our 4th or 5th visit, even though we warned them of peanut allergies every time. This is quite the turn off as this could have caused serious damage if the peanut allergy was severe. Such a shame that we were not informed multiple times of this, and for that we may not return.

Best sushi I have had in the Peoria area. Tastes great and consistent. The mixed drinks are extremely well made and unique. Really enjoy dining here. The restaurant is a little small, so it fills up easily during prime hours. Might be tough to get seated at 6. Highly recommended.

Drinks were all great! As for the sushi, I've definitely had better. Ordered a $15 tsnumani roll (10 pieces? all of various sizes) and a $14 roll fire roll (only 6 pieces) both were dry and dense with far too much rice. They were both fried rolls but neither arrived hot, warm at best. It just didnt taste fresh. Fried calamari app was decent. Overall, sushi is kinda over priced for what you get. Service and ambiance was nice.

I ALWAYS LOVE Novu! The tuna tartar is by far my favorite thing to eat on the planet. The rolls are fresh and innovative the drinks are great (lychee hibiscus cocktail is awesome) and the service is sooo friendly and personable.
