I would travel an hour and a half again just to eat here!! And I've only had the appetizers! I look forward to trying more from the menu on my next trip! And to be inside an old beautiful church makes the atmosphere so cool. Love it!

Parking: Besides street parking there is a very large parking lot across the street.

I'm Going to #Church... But First, Beer! ??

This Saturday, I found the most heavenly spot—Obed and Isaac's. Let’s just say I’m answering a different kind of calling: one that involves a cold pint and some holy delicious eats.

Now, I’m no preacher, but after one visit, I’m ready to spread the good word: their beer selection is divine, and the atmosphere? Pure sanctuary. Whether you're here for brunch or just paying your respects to great local brews, you'll leave feeling #blessed. ?

So, if you see me "in church" this weekend, don’t be surprised—I'll be seated at Obed and Isaac's, raising a glass and praying the nachos never run out.

My wife and I ate here before seeing the wonderful Illinois Central College rendition of the play "The Cake". The food at Obed & Isaac's was so delicious. We got the Candied Bacon Bourbon Burger and the Buffalo Chicken "Ponyshoe" (smaller portions). We grabbed a home made root beer as well. The server was awesome and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will definitely be going back again.

A must stop in Peoria! This old church has been updated to a modern brewery with nods to its historical origin. I only had appetizers but they were delicious and reasonably priced. The pita served with the dips was light and airy to perfectly hold up to the dip. Fun selection of beers and friendly service at the bar top.

This place is a must visit! The food was delicious, and there were great portions for the price. The atmosphere is charming. Love the preservation of the cornerstone building/Presbyterian church. The server and hostess were both friendly and added to the experience!

Update: Dropped score. Was charged a cc transaction fee of 3% without first being notified. Would have paid cash if I'd known that. Before you provide the canned response that it keeps prices down or that you think its unfair that CC companies make retailers pay fees, realize this is the cost of doing business, like paying an electric or water bill. If you can't afford to absorb a 3% CC fee, you may want to rethink your business model.

Great atmosphere. Great beer. Food is pretty good too. Service was kinda slow, esp. when the restaurant wasn't packed. I'd definitely go back again though.
