We were in town for an event and happened upon this place. We're only in Peoria a couple times a year but this has become our go to place when in town! Good food, great service and atmosphere! If I had only one complaint it would be that anytime I get the waffle it always seems to come out not very warm, but it does taste delicious and the fruit topping is fresh!

I used to consider One World a 5 star location, but recently it's been terrible. I went with my family last night and an hour after we ordered we still had nothing but water at the table. We stopped our server and asked if she could check on our food since our appetizer still hadn't come out. She said the kitchen was super backed up and she's having issues with every table. She said she'd go check for us and come right back. After watching her go to 4 other tables over the next 10 minutes it was obvious we weren't ever going to get our food so we left without eating. I would write this off as one bad night but the last time we ate there our appetizer came out after our meal, so it seems like they are just very disorganized now. The kicker to me though was the disrespect shown by the staff. Server didn't care at all. The hostess who noticed us leaving was happy to say bye. When I explained what was happening she was like "oh that's too bad" and that was it. It just seems like whoever is running it now doesn't have a grasp on things and the customers are suffering.

Nice place with interesting murals on the walls. Food was tasty. Got the impossible burger and veganized it, which was really good, though the menu was not clear that that was an option. They were able to accommodate vegan / dairy subs pretty easily but you'll have to ask.

My only complaint is that we sat near a window and the sun was magnified by it without curtains or coverings.
The food itself was delicious. The staff was friendly. And our entire table was able to find something to eat.
The hummus and the roasted veggies were a highlight for me.
