Osaka Hibachi & Sushi Bar

Came in for an early dinner. We got the sushi appetizer and 2 hibachi dinners. 1 was chicken, salmon, and steak and the other chicken and shrimp. We started with clear broth soup and salad. The soup was fine, however the salad was very mayo-y. We were not fans of it. The sushi appetizer came out next, and it has salmon, super white tuna, yellow fin, and an unknown fourth. The super white tuna was good, but the yellow fin and unknown fourth were not good, very strong fishy flavor (I normally like yellow fin so I was surprised at this.) The salmon was fine. Our meals came out next, and all of the meat was overcooked - I was able to pick up the cooked salmon as one piece, the chicken was basically boiled, the steak was well done, but the vegetables were still crunchy. It was really weird and a bit of a bummer as we ended up spending over $100 with tip. The food was not worth the price here. The service was good, and the atmosphere was quite nice. I'm not sure if the hibachi show is of better quality. The bathrooms also need some work, the men's urinal was out of order. I doubt we will be back.

Late lunch on a Monday with a group of 6. Great timing for a social group - it was not crowded. Hibachi service had yummy food, large portions, entertaining presentation and a reasonable price.

This is my favorite spot for a birthday. Food is great every time, and staff and chefs are wonderful. Chefs are great with little ones.

What amazing dinner, the food was delicious 😋! Have enough leftover for lunch. Service was great and they really respected the fact I could not have mushrooms!

Waited 10 minutes before the waiter came. Waited more than an hour for all of our food to arrive. The fish on the rolls was not fresh. The sushi rice wasn’t cooked correctly and has hard center. The udon noodle finally arrived but it was ramen, not udon. We came here only because my daughter wanted udon for dinner…what a disappointment! Went to the bathroom and there’s a dirty sponge right by the sink - ewwww. Horrible experience for the price. I usually don’t leave bad reviews at all but I hope to share our experience for people to consider when they choose a restaurant, and hopefully for the owner to consider improving.

This was a very nice place. The menu prices listed on Google and on the menu pics are inaccurate. It was much more expensive than the listing stated. Our bill was about $20 higher than what I would've expected after totalling up our items too so that was strange. The service was great although I did not get a refill on my drink when i needed one. The hibachi grill master was wonderful and we had a very good time!

$70 Togo meal…. I found hair in my sushi after I called about the hibachi being cooked in a sweet sauce instead of the teriyaki type of sauce. The girl answered and said that she wasn’t the manager but was very rude. She Told me I could bring my food back for new food but refused a refund. When u asked her when I could call back and speak with a manager, she told me that her and her friend are in charge there and she didn’t know when the manager would be there as they are in Chicago. Very unacceptable and unprofessional. (Pictured the chicken hibachi. Do you see how clear the sauce is?)

Went in for an early dinner and had vegetable tempura which was great but that's where the great ended.
Got the bento box and it wasn't good at all.
The teriyaki chicken didn't appear to be freshly cooked or possibly cooked from frozen and not fully thawed before cooking which made it not appetizing.
The tempura shrimp also appeared to be cooked from frozen or not thawed completely which makes it rubbery.
The white rice didn't have a fresh texture.
This place seems to have gone down hill since the last time we were in a couple years ago.
On a positive note, the service was great!
Won't be returning.

I cannot believe they expect you to bring the food back for replacement or they will only give 20%discount for next meal. I couldn’t eat 20% of this meal.

My daughter actually suggested Osaka's after attending for a birthday and bringing the BEST leftovers home. We took her for her 9th birthday and enjoyed the food the atmosphere and the people. Our chef was amazing I wish I could have caught everything on tape. Its pricey so know what you are wanting before you go- but everything we ate between the 5 of us was fabulous! My husband's scallops were perfection and the family I fight to eat veggies loves these flat grilled veggies!

We cant wait to go back again and try it again. My picky husband mentions what he might try next round every couple days. Win win!!!

We went there to celebrate our relative’s birthday in their “grilling for fun in front of customers” so called main dining. They have ruined it. We ordered entrees, steaks, they asked our preferred cooking for them, but in reality we all got the same overdone meat. Why bothered to ask? We adults preferred the steaks by the whole piece, but they cut them into small chunks like for kids. They pretended to be funny but it didn’t look and sound funny! They cleaned their stove with spraying detergent right at our plates with food on! (They could wait with the cleaning until we leave, it’s unsafe poisoning if the detergent gets into food!) VERY expensive for their low quality tasteless, over salted food. We started eating but we couldn’t - we felt we just wasted the money! They made us upset and disappointed! Disgusting place that cares only for money grabbing, not for the customers’ satisfaction. We won’t be back for sure, we’ll bring our business to a better dining. Stay away from this place!
