It's no secret that Olympia is my favorite restaurant in Peoria, IL! They serve bar style Grecian food with a twist. Some of our staples there include loaded gyro fries, gyros, hummus, saganaki, spanikopita egg rolls, burgers, and, of course, their jumbo wings! They play all the sports games, have slot machines and darts, as well as board games for the kids. They also have an all-inclusive dinners once a quarter with specialty menu items.

The gyro was delicious. Looks like a great place to catch a ballgame. I'll come back. Service was friendly

The food here is good, maybe not great, but good. Cool atmosphere with live trivia during the week (check out their Facebook but it's usually on Tuesdays). Great options for drink and usually something on special. The service was good! The wait staff is attentive. If you're looking for something on the lighter side for your wallet, this may not be the place. Menu is a little steep for the quality. Overall though a fun place to hang out and grab a bite!

We've been there several times. This last time I was a little disappointed in my meal. I got the fish sandwich and an order of calamari. My fish was a little greasy, and my calamari was not good at all. There was just a handful and for the cost I didn't think it was worth it. My husband had the tenderloin, which is usually what he always gets, but he was not impressed with it this time. I'll wait a few months and go back.

Who ever thought of a Greek inspired Sports Bar? I'm glad someone felt it was a worthwhile venture. Friends brought us here as we were looking for a place to eat and watch college football. It was great to have options beyond the typical bar food menu. My husband had the Burger with Gyro meat. The portion was good and the flavor was great. The Gyro meat was a bit dry on his burger, but it didn't stop him from eating it all. I had the Hummus appetizer and had them add a side of Gyro meat. Mine was perfectly cooked and delicious with all of the veggies (carrots, celery) and pita bread to enjoy it all. They have so many TVs around, it was easy to watch the sporting event of your choice. Our server was really attentive and kept our group of six well taken care of for the night.

We had a great dinner here on Memorial Day. Definitely recommend the gyro fries and the sample platter. For 4 drinks (2 beers, and 2 sodas) and those two items the bill came to about 60.00 which seems a little pricey but what isn't these days? We'll definitely be back!

Great place to meet the friends. Tito's martini and their amazing hummus with pita bread. We're ready for the weekend! Cheers!

Consistent good vibes in this establishment. Paul and Andrew are very hospitable. The gyro melt is to die for (get the spicy cheese). Servers are always prompt and kind.

Olympia has quickly become a favorite for my family when we need a place to eat. It's about the only place open on Sunday nights. Although it is nominally a sports bar, we either eat on their patio or on the restaurant side. There are still a dozen TVs in view if you want to watch a game. The saganaki is delicious. I'm no hummus expert, but I think the hummus here is phenomenal!!! I've tried their chopped wedge salad (delicious!), their build your own kabob platter (delicious but small--I usually get one steak and one veggie, since the meat ones don't have veggies with them), and the gyro. The gyro is also delicious, but overstuffed with meat and a little plain, so I always need to ask for extra tzatziki sauce. The pita bread is also very good, and the baklava cheesecake is fantastic. With burgers, salads, chicken, etc., the menu has a good variety of American and Greek foods. The main disappointing thing for me is the meat skewers you can add to a salad. They're kind of blah, but I'm also just not a fan of grilled chicken, so that's on me for ordering them.Don't get the Bill's Lemonade unless you like artificial sweetener (Bill's used to be the best at the fair until they changed their recipe a few years back to pander to the health nuts). They tried to make it for us with just real sugar, but it was very tart and we needed to add a lot more than what they initially put in. (Which they brought, but it still wasn't enough and I was embarrassed to ask for more.)The decor is a bit of a mish mash, with some Greek imagery, some M.C. Escher prints, and now some random paintings of anime characters, but the food is good and there's sports if you like sports or don't have cable at home like us. Like most restaurants, they probably won't have the sound on.They have a weekly trivia night that sounds fun, but I haven't had a chance to try it.

Absolutely my favorite spot to get food and drinks. I go about once a week and I'm never disappointed. The staff takes very good care of the costumers. I couldn't even pick a favorite staff member because all of them including management does a great job. This store is ran very well and always a clean environment.

First visit-This place has potential being a Greek American sports bar but to say the food is good would be a huge lie. The bar is the best part of this establishment. Large beer/drink menu with spacious seating/decent prices. If I was to return it would only be to drink.I had the gyro and onion rings. Had 2 rings and left-batter had no flavor whatsoever and tasted like oil and flour. The gyro was served on cold rock hard bread-hard enough it was a struggle to cut with the knife. The meat was an overcooked skimpy pile drenched in sauce and mushy tomatoes. This place was a huge disappointment and wouldn't return or recommend.
