Sharkey's Fish and Chicken

We had the walleye and Philly mix sandwiches and onion rings. The owner was so nice and the food was the hot and large portions! Would recommend a 10 out of 10! Will be definitely going back.

One of my favorites in Peoria! I miss it now that I’ve moved away. The staff is always so friendly when taking orders on the phone and even more so in person. The food is always fresh and the wait is never too long. The fish and chicken — very good especially with the lemon pepper seasoning. The Philly sandwich is also good.

There is seating, but I would say this is more of a grab your food and go spot. Definitely will be grabbing this the next time I visit!

Great place for carry out or Door Dash delivery! Ample portions . Hot a fresh every time. Catfish and wings are great. I had the gyro plate with fries. Very tasty. Tsiki sauce was really good. Better than most. Prices were on par with most competitors

Love the loaded nachos and their jumbo shrimp and their fried fish plus the dessert and the food is always fresh and u get a lot for a small price

I ordered Perch Fish, it stinked like a dead animal. It was over fried, the oil is old and it was over cooked. I took 2 bites of it and it made me sick!
Before I ate it, I took the fish back, because I felt like it was over fried too hard. The Cashier today said that this is the way it looks. I spit it out!!! I will not be going back!!!

Their fried catfish might be one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life. Super tasty and I think it’s their breading that makes it. I got the Philly chicken however it wasn’t that good

I brought a gyro burger and they didn’t put no gyro meat on it. It’s 10pm coming from work and he tells me to bring it back after I got home. Poor service the sandwich is a gyro burger so how u forget the gyro. Due to him not accommodating this I willl not go back there

My wife and I just stopped there and the food was great. The service was even better. I took a menu with me. The prices are awesome. We will definitely be frequenting this place..

I'm absolutely livid. It's 12 am just got my delivery a bit ago and I'm still hungry AF. The mozzarella sticks were burnt and hard at, no sauce. The fires were chewy, cold and hard, Philly was OK at best, and I wouldn't know how my catfish tasted because I threw it away. I got no sauce-tartar or hot- for my catfish. It wasnt an option on doordash to add so I reluctantly assumed it would come with it. Especially since under the sauce portion of the menu it's not an option to order. I don't eat catfish without tartar sauce. catfish is not good when reheated, every store is closed right now because it's Peoria Illinois, so by the time I can get some tomorrow it's no good. So garbage it went. Also no utensils or napkins either. This is why I don't try new places. Should have ordered JJs. They always make sure you got all the sauces!!

Been here before every time I’m in town ordered a large gizzard and a triple gyro always had good amount of meat for the gyro but now it’s literally like for two gyros is the new behind there eating the food

Okay, I was a bit hesitant at first when we first walked in, it’s not the kind of spot to relax and dine in. However, their fried catfish and walleye was delicious! You can tell the grease and fish they used were clean. Everything was well seasoned and good. There is a bit of a wait for your food, but I don’t mind waiting if it means food is fresh and hot. Highly recommend. Btw, I thought the walleye was waaay better than the catfish, but both are good.
