They ask you to pay as soon as you hit the door which I thought was a little weird. 55 dollars for 2 adults to eat Sunday brunch buffet. I asked if mabe we could see the food first. Make sure it was worth it. She showed me a piece of paper that had the offerings listed...okkay. We were starving so we just decided to go for it. The space is nicely decorated and the food was pretty good but I thought there were some temp issues. Nothing was very hot and the salad bar looked a little sad and none of it was cold. We were asked if we wanted mimosa or bloody Mary. I asked for a bloody Mary, my boyfriend asked for draft Miller light. After about 15 mins we got our drinks. My bloody Mary was pretty good...they brought my boyfriend a bottle even though he asked for draft. We got up to leave and had to pay again for our drinks. Another 10 dollars. We asked if we could take our dessert to go. It was listed as one of the buffet offerings on the menu she showed us at the door. To which she said, "he's gunna charge you for it" what?? It's listed as one of the offerings...I wasn't going to argue about cake. 65 dollars for 2 peoples brunch and we left a tip, which im sure didnt go to the nice Indian boy who helped us. He was gone by the time we left. I think small businesses like these should be less greedy and more appreciative to their customers. We were literally the only couple in the entire restaurant. 80 bucks. No cake. Won't be back.

I have eaten at SLE several times. I love Michael's food so much that I asked him to cater our wedding in Columbia, MO this past weekend. The brisket, pulled pork, and mac and cheese were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Our guests made comments to us such as, "This is the best wedding food I've ever had.", our guests from Kansas City (home of bbq) said, "This is the best bqq I've ever had." Thank you Michael for making our day so special with your amazing food, your care for making everything just perfect, and for travelling to and from Columbia to cater our event!

My wife and I had the Brunch a few weeks ago and the entire experience was a big disappointment. The cost was crazy expensive based on the food selection. Atmosphere was not good to be kind. What amazes me that when there is a bad review no response! Why? It happened why not respond? The review in question is the one regarding the cockroach in the food. It was put in by a Google user. If this happened the way the reviewer stated it is unexcusable and if this is a bogus review it is unexcusable as well! In my humble opinion I feel it would be in your best interest to respond. Don't you as well? As for us we will not be returning to dine! Why would you not respond to my review? By not responding to the review in question regarding the Cockroach in the food in my humble opinion it tells me this really happened and you could care less. No response really?

Very clean perfect name for the place I did not fully understand the pricing on the food and ended up spending a whole bunch of money that I wasn't prepared to spend but now that I understand that they weigh their food when I go back I will know what to do but the food is very very good very clean place and very kind people
