The atmosphere is good for getting some work done with plenty of tables for most times and outlets. This store unionized a couple years ago (I think it was two) and a lot of things went downhill as union busting caused turnover. It’s pretty disappointing that union stores don’t get tips on credit card transactions, too.But this is a review of the service which is great. Particularly a barista who usually has colorful hair and a gentle soul. She always brightens my day and clearly cares about everyone who walks in. I’m also always warmly greeted by the man who seems to be a manager there. I just love going here, especially on days when I feel bad, the staff has everything to do with that.Pro tip for other customers: bring cash for tip since they don’t have a credit card to prompt; or use the Starbucks app with your card attached so you can add a tip.
