The staff at this facility was really on their job I didn't have to wait at all for the delivery I was picking up as well as three others beside me all got their orders they were not messed up everything was orderly neat and fast and clean. Great job ladies

The fries and milkshake was good. The burger wasn't what it used to be sadly. Service was a screen with a scan code for drink station, which was problematic. Food was delivered to table quickly by a friendly server, best part of the meal.

Like everyone else says: Steak n'Shake isn't what it used to be. But we'll occasionally order online, for old times' sake. I never have been able to duplicate their chili recipe. However, the last time we ordered at this location, we both had major digestive upset that evening and into the next day. The only food we both ordered was their steakburgers. I hope it was just a coincidentally-timed virus that made us sick. But wanted to ask if any other customers have had similar experiences. ?

i asked for the double garlic steak burger meal and i got a cheeseburger and fries but i also asked for the upgrade to cheese fries and got regular. super disappointed with my order.
This place is full of rudeness. First I worked at the kiosk and then I waited. And then I got my food. After that I was waiting for about 10 minutes for my shake, and I finally asked somebody what happened to it this lady named Colleen said that she already gave it to me. I told her that didn't happen and she started blaming me that I probably drank it. Then when one of the workers checked their little fridge my shake was in there. This is not the first time that this lady has been rude. She is not friendly during the drive-thru and brings this restaurant down. Hire someone else because she is clearly not fit for this job.

This Steak N Shake on University is the cleanest I've been in for a long time. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were all super nice and helpful with others who needed assistance. 10/10 will visit this restaurant again!

Dear Steak ‘n Shake,
Myself and Christianna Bennet, wanted to take a moment to thank you for the delicious food and the beautiful view we enjoyed during our visit. As college students, it’s always nice to have a relaxing dining experience, and we appreciated the atmosphere. However, we felt it was necessary to bring up an issue with two of your staff members during our visit. The guy in the red shirt and the young woman were both rude and made us feel uncomfortable. Specifically, the guy asked if I had an ID to receive the food I had already paid for, which felt more like a joke, but we did not find it humorous and it left us feeling uneasy. We simply came to enjoy our meal, and we wanted to share this so you can be aware of the situation. We hope this can be addressed for future guests. Thanks again for the food and the view, but we do hope the staff can be more considerate next time.
