Steak 'n Shake (Temporarily Closed)

Love my chili 4 way! Good food, cheap prices, clean restaurant and good service

They keep the menu interesting for a burger joint. They don't try to improve their classics and just end up screwing them uo like some other places and they have kept their menu prices very decent compared to what some other chains have done. Plus they send lots of coupons and I always seem to have one when I'm craving some sns. The last time I tried to use an expired coupon and the dude at the checkout took it anyways. Service has always been spot on here come to think of it.

Everything was great! No reason to not give 5 stars. We had a lot of good food for under $10. Service was fast and friendly. Good job!

Waitress was great but fries and onion rings cooked in old grease. Small ants at table. Customers around us waited forever for their food and was not correct. One customer behind us was given her water and menu and left sitting. Finally, much later she got up and walked out. No reason for any of this.

I came in about a week ago and I bought a shake with my meal. And they accidentally charged me for two shakes. The manager then told me he put the money from the first transaction back onto my card which was $13 and we do another transaction without the extra shake which came out to be $10 something. And it ended up charging me for both transactions and the money has still never been put back on my card. I have called several times to get help and they have repeatedly told me they can’t do anything for me. How? When you guys literally stole my money. I paid over double the amount for a sandwich fries and a shake. This is the worst service Ive ever dealt with. I will never go to this Steak ‘n Shake again

Let me start by saying we have four kids so always a larger party, we love steak and shake and their prices for families, and eat at steak and shakes very often. First time at this location, Big Hollow road by Target. Service was kinda lacking, two of our seven meals were incorrect. They did bring us the correct ones, 18 minutes later, and once the kids started eating them they were still bloody and red in middle, they were the thicker prime burgers. Very few fries on the plates, my son's meal had literally fifteen fries, yes we counted. The garlic burgers were cold, didn't even melt the garlic butter sauce on them. The ingredients on all the meals were very skimpy. Again I'll say we love steak and shake k and eat at them regularly. This will be our one and only visit to this location, very unhappy with the food, I'd recommend just driving the couple miles to the better ones by grand prairie or in East Peoria.

Aside from cheese for cheese fries being put on the fries instead of on side (like i wanted) good food decent service (did go in around 12am so was dead). Didn't say anything about fries or see it as that big of a deal as the steak n shakes near me use a different cheese sauce, and I grew up on the kind most of the steak n shakes use so i was just happy regardless seeing as i was able to get my classic cheese sauce lol

Love to bring my grandparents here for lunch! My grandfather is always so happy to get his milkshake. All the staff are awesome and helpful. The food is great and the store is always clean. The food is reasonably priced and good portions, we always have leftovers.

We arrived and were seated quickly enough but we asked for crayons and never received any. We had to wipe down the seat of our booth. We also waited for about half an hour before they even took our drink order. By that time we had our whole order ready. They also served customers who got in after us before we had our order taken. They only get 2 stars because the food was good.

Took my kids there and the manger was arguing with an employee so loud that she literally cleaned the entire restaurant. Completely unprofessional!

Long wait for everything, 4 of our 5 meals were incorrect or missing items & staff was not friendly.
