Really cute place!! My mac and cheese was great. We were here on a fairly busy night, and the wait for the meatloaf was quite long (45 minutes) compared the rest of the food items. The staff was working hard and they were kind and apologetic - and we got a free piece of a carrot cake because of the wait, at least!

Four people at our table and one of us didn't get served her food for at least 15 minutes and then it was cold. I ordered pesto chicken with no onions and onions were on it. I didn't have the time to send it back but I should have because our friend had to wait so long anyway. I won't go here again. Order food on your way in and they bring it to you. Fountain drink was flat.

Pleasant service, good food. I'm lactose and I still ate the mac and cheese. 😲

Parking: Was there for a business lunch and with the noise level, limited parking in the winter, made it a less than a stellar experience.

Employees were very disrespectful, they would act like you were bothering them when asking menu questions or requesting a drink while waiting or dessert options. I ordered my food for take out, included well over 50% tip (when doing take out you pay and tip before the food is ready)
I waited 45 mins while other patrons were sat and served. No one gave me an update on my food taking so long. The employees basically act like your not there. I left without taking my food or dessert.
I love Peoria and the town seen, I am a firm believer of supporting our local businesses. But I would never recommend Sugar, very disappointing.
I decided to give Sugar another try, the staff was the same. They look like they would rather be anyplace else. However the pizza was fantastic I will definitely return
We came in for dinner and I just want to say they are amazing. The food is great, yes, every single time. But the staff and their customer service...TOP NOTCH! Not many places like this still around where they go above and beyond to make something right. Something that honestly was my fault but they still insisted on making right!!!

Super neat spot to go in the newly remodeled Peoria downtown. If you go to sit and enjoy downtown it's great but with that being said my food has been burnt both time I visited, and the staff is essentially you so what your tipping for i have no idea.

Small pizzas and slightly awkward without bigger sizes for better value, an unexpected trip over our trip in to find a helpful staff, easy going darkened space for all groups, plenty of menu items like paninis and pies, and thought out brew list. Nothing I sampled really spoke to me but the apricot Wheat from Industry was nice. The others enjoyed a cider from San Francisco. Another did his own BLT Panini, what a feast! Was jealous, he nibbled it all down just as our soppressata and smoky pork chipotle pizzas showed up, we got the chance to turn tables! Again wished for larger sizes, we had hoped there would be leftovers for a fourth meal. But with these flavors, rich base, fantastic meats, oh that hot honey! There was nothing left but to pay and get the guys a bit squeamish to owe me seventeen dollars just unsplitting two pizzas and a cider. I can say that is big city prices and small city Peoria food scene has fierce competition.

Easy, low-maintenance atmosphere with stellar food. Everything we ordered was phenomenal and the prices were very reasonable.
