Never been here before so I thought I’d try it out! Huge building and completely dead. That was the first tell. Second tell was the enormous menu. Never trust a restaurant that has 1,000+ things on the menu. Third tell was the one server in the place. She was literally having cell phone conversations while she was bringing our food out. Proceeded to have cell phone conversations while she was checking us out as well. Final tell for me was I ordered the Gyro. The Tzatziki sauce tasted like they used a vanilla Greek yogurt. It was so bizarre tasting I couldn’t eat my sandwich with it.

We used to love this place, not so much anymore. Takes a long time to be waited on. Took a long time to be served. I was actually thinking about leaving.

Had a lot of really good food, waitress was on top of all our refills and communicated with us well, had a nice time there, stop by if you’re in the area and need something to eat!

The food is amazing at Sweet Basil Cafe! The atmosphere is phenomenal. The service was a one off. The waiter was nervous and I had to remind him 3 times to bring our other food(he forgot to order my eggs) and I put my empty water glass with ice to the edge of the table and had to tell him what that meant. Sweet guy though. Probably new. I’m certain that’s not the usual there. I had an espresso drink which was fantastically yummy, but there are no milk alternatives for this lactose intolerant lady. The prices aren’t bad, but $4 for apple juice? Plus only because they had ran out of oj by 10am on a Saturday. $50 for 2 people including drinks and food. A bit steep. The food itself is $10-20. Great place to eat!

The food here in the plethora of tasteful options is almost limitless here. The amount of great tasting quality food that you get for the price you pay is exceptional. It would be a good to offer a little less expensive meal. They would also have a little bit less amount of food for children. It's just a little disheartening when your young one eats well but there's a lot left over

We went here for mother's day lunch. It was understandably busy and the server did her best, but it still took over an hour to get food once we ordered. The chicken and rice soup was tasty, but our actual sandwiches were mediocre at best. My mother ordered the French dip and the meat was bad. The sandwich smelled and tasted sour. They were kind enough to take it off our bill since management was there, but said they typically only let you replace with another entree. Wouldn't recommend for lunch/dinner, but they have a good breakfast.

I was seated and looked over. Saw out of the corner of my eye that the waitresses were trying to figure out who had my table. I ordered 2 eggs and sausage. The sausage was cold and very greasy. I ate 3 bites of food, never checked on. And the meal was $17. Would not recommend.

My wife and I will never return to this restaurant. Our hash browns and omelette were both burnt. After we told our server she went and got the manager. The “manager” came over and asked why didn’t we tell our server we didn’t like the food? At this point a server had never came back to check on us. The “manager” proceeded to tell us that she can have the food re-made but couldn’t give us a discount. We just wanted to leave and asked for the check. As we were walking out the “manager” asked us accusingly if we were going to pay!? I told her I am a server and would NEVER send food out like that or be that disrespectful to customers. Probably why this place looks like it’s going out of business. I have never even written a review for anything but I feel like people need to know how horrible our experience was. Like I said, we will not be going back.

Omelet was huge—my mom and I shared! That restaurant was empty, maybe because it was a random Tuesday morning, but it was sad. We enjoyed the pancakes as well and even had leftovers.
