Food is very high priced especially when you don’t get everything that you ordered. I was supposed to get rice with my butter chicken and was told that rice is only complimentary and that’s why I didn’t receive it. If that’s the case then this entrée should not cost more than $10. I typically have curry with rice like most people. They did say that next time I come I can get two races. But that doesn’t really solve my issue for the present. Not thrilled with the staff response, not thrilled with the price which is why I gave the low rating.

Amazing, delicious food for affordable prices, and great for vegetarians and vegans! The restaurant is always clean and the waitstaff are friendly and attentive. I usually get this as delivery, but you wouldn't even think it was with how fresh and delicious all the food is. I especially recommend the chana saag. Keep up the great work!Dietary restrictions: I can easily eat here as a vegan.

Bad Customer Service and it was disgusting inside. Bathroom was gross, they didn’t have paper towels or tissue.

I came here for a grubhub order and I'm a black man I was waiting for 10 mins to get service after 6 people walked in and got served first and I didn't even get a hello meanwhile when white people walked in they say hello talked clear English gave them water and when they was ready to leave that's when they talked to me and acted like they didn't speak English I got there around 7:28 and didn't get the order till 7:40. I didn't feel welcome and if you are black just be careful ordering here.

First time there, and I was blown away! The food was phenomenal. The butter chicken, the garlic naan and the jeera rice, all incredibly delicious. The server was very attentive, and all the food came out super fast and hot. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! I’ll be back!Dietary restrictions: The server asked specifically if we had any special needs.Parking: Right in front of building. Shares parking lot with other businesses, but there were at least 50 parking spots.Kid-friendliness: Very open restaurant, great for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level.

This is extremely disturbing & unacceptable, please explain why this was happening and what is being done to restore our trust.Tawa Kitchen at 816 W. Pioneer Parkway, Peoria, received four priority, seven priority foundation and 13 core violations. These included:None of the "cooked product within establishment is marked with a use-by date." According to the health department, "Food prepared and held in a food establishment for more than 24 hours must be clearly marked to indicate the date or day by which the food must be consumed on the premises, sold, or discarded when held at a temperature of 41°F or less for a maximum of 7 days."The health department found a hand sink in the kitchen did not have liquid soap. Along with this, hand sinks in the kitchen and men's restroom did not have paper towels.Multiple employees "handled food without washing hands while preparing product."The health department observed that the inside "of all microwaves are heavily soiled."Butter was discarded after the health department found it was "not maintained at 41°F, or less."Source: PJ Star
