This place is outstanding! Never had anything that was less than fantastic. Each dish is special and not something you can choose just anywhere. Very mindful of gluten free diners with clearly marked menus and understanding servers! Also, great drink selection.
This was our second time there. We thought we’d give it another shot since our first visit 2 years prior wasn’t very good. But unfortunately it was the same result. This review is about both visits. The place is small and we were very hot (some sweating) during our meal. The brisket was juicy, but fatty. The ribs were overcooked and dry. The brisket sandwich was very good though. Fries and fried pickles are good. Mac and cheese (very bland), baked beans (soupy and very smoky),...
Wow wow wow! My bartender recommended the wings and they are to die for! First smoked, then fried then sauced with Asian buffalo sauce. I’m not sure what the sauce was, but I couldn’t stop eating it!
Then went with the Asian tacos with brisket. Very interesting combination of sauces and brisket. I added the vinegar based bbq sauce for even more yum!
Ended with the key lime pie. Definitely different than I was expecting, but very solid...
