Coming in the restaurant you can immediately see how dusty their decor is, even with the dark lighting. It needs a deep clean and things taken off the wall.Having a reservation we didn't have to wait long and the hostess was friendly. Once seated, we could tell they were understaffed like every other place these days but the restaurant wasn't very full so I wasn't sure what was taking our waitress so long and why she kept disappearing. When the food came, it was plated very nicely. I love the personal touches of the logo on their deconstructed chicken pot pie soup. They do a good job making plates look somewhat inviting but I am wondering why their thoughts of "elevated" or "fancy" food just means deconstructed, though. They advertise that their tamale is deconstructed, but that's honestly the theme of the menu and it wasn't all great. The food taste however is a different story than how it looks. We ordered the deconstructed tamale, the chicken pot pie, cactus chili, and the beef tenderloin crustini. The deconstructed tamale was honestly a tasteless mess. Not even a hint of Mexican spice, the "masa" was a weird texture and the presentation with the burned corn husk is odd.The chicken pot pie isn't advertised as deconstructed but it is. It's basically a soup with filo dough on top. I was expecting a creamy texture like you normally get in a pie but this was more brothy like a soup. And if we thought the tamale was bland, this was even more bland than that! It needed salt, herbs, FLAVOR!The cactus chili barely had cactus in it, and again BLAND.The beef tenderloin crustini were the only plate that we actually loved! I wanted this to be a full sandwich or even mini sandwiches. The sauce on there was actually really good.We paid almost $100 for everything but feel it was worth maybe half that price.Looking around in the restaurant they seem to cater to an older, yt crowd, so that explains the flavorless food for a high price. I was just hoping for something better for our anniversary. Also, we put in the reservation it was our anniversary and we're never given a dessert, wine or even a happy anniversary from the waitress. The whole experience was dull and less than exciting.

Thyme has an attached banquet space and we just attended another awesome event there. They easily accommodated our group of 55. The meal was excellent and gluten free, vegan, and kids options helped make the dinner nice for all They have a large screen AV system that we used and plenty of extra space for displayed. Staff are great and as the group's organizer, I found the Thyme caterers (really Cracked Pepper) thoughtful, efficient and easy to work with. I don't write many lengthy reviews, but Cracked Pepper more than deserves this one. THANKS.

Bison burger was good but they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked. I guess I figured it wouldn't be mostly pink and they figured people like it mostly pink.. either way we were both wrong. Made me feel a bit like I just got meat off the dead animals that were staring at me from the walls lol. Otherwise though, it's a unique experience/venue.

Really cool place to just look around at first. Then you see the massive selection of whiskeys, burbons, ryes, and scotchs. Food was fantastic, the drinks are splendid.

Awesome vibes, friendly service, super busy place so made it a little slow but server was nice and apologetic. Food was good, not great, not bad. Got the Reuben and tots, wife had a grilled chicken sandwich that was very dry. Love the atmosphere though, super cool interior.

Excellent selection, food and service. I have never had a more nicely cooked piece of chicken than I enjoyed in today's marsala.I also enjoyed s flight of beer featuring local craft beer. There is a great full range menu of whiskeys and cocktails I hope to check out in future.Bathroom was extremely cold. Speakers were oddly placed: decent music, distorted reception. My friend and I disagreed over taxidermy. I loved it.

Thyme was recommended by a nurse at OSF when we were in town for a family member's hospital stay. Glad we stopped in. Bar none, the best cheese curds we've ever had, along with a fantastic Old Fashioned. Our server was friendly and really helpful. I had the Shrimp & Grits and husband had the Chicken Fried Chicken. I wish I'd had what he had because it was excellent. My meal was just so-so. The shrimp were overdone and the whole dish was over-seasoned. Not spicy, just too much something. Nice atmosphere, but some tables are in such darkness that people were using their phones to see the menu.

The Brussel sprouts are the best! ? Definitely get them every single time I come here! Cannot get these recreated anywhere else! Service is a little hit or miss sometimes especially depending on if they are busy. But the food is always good!
