Why not just tell me the truth? Unfortunately, I left my prescription bifocal sunglasses on the table when I left and didn't realize it until I was hundreds of miles away. Next day I called and was told that yes, they found my glasses. I asked the manager if he could ship them to me (in Vermont) since I was just passing through. I offered to pay for shipping and for the trouble. No problem he says - he will take care of it. I thank him profusely and again offer to pay. Well it's 25 days later and still nothing. I have tried calling several times. No one seems to be able to tell me anything. They cost me hundreds of dollars and are worthless to anyone else. If it was too much trouble and you didn't want to go to the trouble of sending them, why lie about it? It's such a disappointment.

Hadn't been in a while...the menu has been upscaled! Yes, prices are up proportionally, but the variety of meals supports the increase.

This place is out of bounds! If we're ever in the general vicinity again we will drive out of the way to come here!

My son ordered tacos, he 'mmm'ed the entire time he ate them.

My mom ordered the shredded chimi and thought it was delicious.

I got the special nachos subbed with shredded chicken, so unbelievably tasty.

Fresh ingredients. The guacamole is good on literally everything, definitely worth the extra cost.

I appreciate you can see the kitchen from the front, it is a clean space and it was nice to see it up close and personal.

What takes the cake is that queso. So. Dang. Good. I'm disappointed we don't have one closer to home but am looking forward to our next trip to Peru, Illinois. Also, if you're going through the area you must make a stop in. You won't regret it. We ordered pick up so I cannot speak to the service in the restaurant but the gal who took our order was attentive and made sure everything was there that we asked for.

Until next time Jalapeños!

Walked in with the family(of 5). Sat down in corner booth. Table was terrible, rocked back and forth. Waited 20 mins, only received chips and salsa. There was a couple that was seated minutes after us. They ordered an appetizer and received it. We were never waited on. We got up and left and ended taking kids to steak and shake.

Went here because the rating looked were very high with a lot of reviews. I was met with disappointment. The first issue was the ice tea. First drink and about spit it out, the tea tasted skunky as if it was at a minimum an entire day old. The waitress did replace the tea with Pepsi, Pepsi at a Mexican restaurant? I would have thought they would have Coke. Next the steak fajita burrito arrived, food was good except for the steak that was way over cooked. Was heavily charred and dried out from over cooking.

if you want to be ignored while the sign says ease wait to be seated than this is the place to go and never get sat. 3 employees looked right at me kept walking and the other one continued to roll silverware. I walked out and told the group of three cars that pulled in as I was walking out dont eat here you'll never get sat. all 3 cars left told them to go to either b lue Margherita in oglesby or Nina's in lasalle. called asked to speak to the manager and the manager didn't understand any English put an employee on the phone. looks like immigration needs to play a visit along with ICE and take care of the illegals

I have been there twice now. The first time they service was awesome. This time a train wreck. Both times the food was mediorce. My wife's food still hasn't come out. The appetizer i ordered came out with the second round of food. The Jalepanos sampler was flavorless and the presentation was a mess. The salsa that came with it tasted like a V8. The Fajita came out in three rounds. First the side piece (beans, rice, and sauce), then the chicken Fajita (which tasted burnt), then had to ask about the tortillas. But to be fair it didn't say on the menu if you got tortillas. We were never asked if we wanted a refill on chips and salsa or drinks. The child with us was brought pink lemonade even though we ordered apple juice with no explanation. Apparently they were out of apple juice, but instead of informing us of the possible substitution they just said send it. I am not in a mood to eat anymore. Would not recommend.

Edit: they tried to over charge me for multiple extra sodas. It took.two times to get it right with three employees trying to.figure it.out.

Who would’ve thought that in Peru Illinois we found the best Mexican restaurant we’ve ever been to. Outstanding and delicious! Now I know why dogs always lick the plate.
