Hadn't been in this restaurant for a longtime because last time we were there we had a bad experience with the food and the service was very poor.. This time we decided to try because another family member said it was good and other reviews for last 6 months have been very satisfactory.. So, the food was very awesome and tasted very authentic.. However, the server we had , we had a bit of a language barrier.. It seems as though he had a hard time understanding a food allergy...
Honestly, this is the best Mexican restraunt I have eaten at in Illinois to date. What an absolute diamond in the rough! I wish it was closer to home from me, thats my biggest complaint! The presentation was excellent, portions were big, over 10/10 dining experience! Can't wait to visit again
This place was a great find along I-80. The food was delicious. The esquites tasted fresh, like elotes off the cob is supposed to taste like, not like canned corn. The server could have been friendlier, but he was certainly efficient. The restaurant was clean and looked nice.
