Ordered a large hamburger, mushroom, and black olive deep pan pizza. Right amount of toppings and cheese along with a crispy crust.
The pizza severely lacked sauce. There was more sauce at the edge of the crust than on the rest. It was basically crust, toppings, and cheese.
Pleasant atmosphere with the exception of the music which was quite loud.

Lu's is hit or miss usually, but I ordered delivery tonight and received one of the BEST margharita pizzas I've had in a long while. Compliments to the chef!
Delicious deep dish pizza. And really good wings.

Lou's LaGrotto is an amazing place with phenomenal food and a warm, welcoming environment. The hostess is attentive and welcoming, making the dining experience enjoyable. The Mama Rosas Italian salad is well-sized but can be overdressed, while the chopped chicken salad is tasty but also overdressed. The restaurant is accommodating to customers, even when arriving close to closing time. The server was great, and the service was friendly and helpful, though it could be a bit disjointed at times. The food is delicious, with highlights including the nuggets, fried pickles, pizza, spaghetti, wings, and the chunks parm sandwich. Overall, Lou's LaGrotto is a must-visit place where guests are sure to be pleased with the food and service.
