Stopped in for the first time tonight with family and will visit again for sure. My brisket was fork tender, moist, tasty, and with a balanced smokiness (not strong, not too light) and a good portion size. The beans were flavorful too; I’d get both again. Others had brisket sandwich, chicken tenders, chicken and waffles and everyone enjoyed their food. The cheese curds are some of the best we’ve had in Illinois. The bartenders and staff were upbeat and friendly. The music wasn’t too loud. The Flight beer on tap was easy drinking, then the smoked s’mores old fashioned was fun, finished table side. As expected it was a little sweet, but the smoke offset that and it paired surprising well with the brisket.

I got the brisket and Rib platter with mac and cheese and collard greens. OMG it was absolutely delicious. The darker sauce which is sweeter is my favorite. I did get boiled peanuts not as good as down south can be cooked just a little bit longer but overall good flavor. I'll definitely be a repeat customer

We were immediately greeted with a smile. Great service from the Hostess to the Waitress and Bartender. The food was very good with ample portions. The Ribs were smoked perfectly, well seasoned with a slight pull. The Brisket was very tender and juicy. They offered several Sauce options from sweet to spicy. The only part of the meal that I did not appreciate were the Sides...the Baked Beans and the Coleslaw were very forgetable.

Shera was phenomenal, super patient and helpful. It was my buddies’ and I’s first time coming here, but she helped us navigate the menu and make decisions. We had a great time and great food!
