The kiosks destroy the atmosphere. The decor keeps it from being a 1. The food, as usual, quite good.
Typical experience. No real issue that stands out except I'm not a fan of the QR code receipts needed to get your drinks that you have .003 seconds to dispense before it times out.

This location is stepping up. I haven’t been in a Steak and Shake this pleasant in years. It was clean (floors and bathrooms could be better), they have upgraded the booths, chairs and tables, the staff was polite and actually smiled (!) and the food was excellent. Both quality and quantity exceeded expectations and price was on point. I am a hard reviewer but give props when due. Honestly so surprised by how great this experience was.
