I ordered and was so disappointed in the food and everything. The ribs were so tough they were like rubber, the sausage was burnt the only 2 good things about the dinner plate was the coleslaw and cornbread. The baked beans were so sweet the would put a diabetic into a coma. Needless to say that was 50.00 in the trash.. Literally. Even the bread pudding sucked. I don't leave reviews, but beings I had to eat my Cole and everything else I tasted I had to use my fingers as the put NO UTENSILS in to eat with.

Barbecue restaurants are slim pickings in the Oglesby & Peru area and most seem to be open Thursday-Sunday.Anyway I had the sliced brisket, slaw and cornbread.The cornbread was delicious and had a sweetened flavor. Slaw was good but was missing something…. Briskets are hard to smoke and finish to get the right flavor and end up with enough moisture without getting them too dry.The one I had was dry and needed sauce.If in the area again, I’d give them another chance and you should too.A coworker had ribs and he said they were delicious and were fall off the bone to perfection.

Yummy! Had our food managers class here today and the food was delicious. The house made bbq is also yummy. The mac and cheese was sooooo cheesy, the baked beans had bacon and were delicious. Everything has a bit of spice ecen the colesalw, so mouth watering!!!! Yummy yummy yummy! I wish I lived closer. I'd be here every week at least! Thank you for the amazing food and nice smiles!!! 10/10

Recommend making a pit stop here if you’re driving through. After the 1st time trying this place, we made sure to make it back 2 months later. Delicious bbq and sides! The first time I tried the southwest wrap with brisket and cheesy hash browns and added cornbread. It was delicious! Large portion wrap, able to take one half home and the cornbread was so delicious I ate it all and ordered a second piece to go with my left over wrap. Second time tried the chopped brisket sandwich (pictured) and Mac n cheese with corn bread. Mac n cheese was fantastic (cheese and flavor was on par) and the corn bread again was amazing - best kind I’ve had at a restaurant and reminds me of famous Dave’s cornbread. Highly recommend checking this place out! We will be making it a regular pit stop when in the area.
Meet up with some old friends as it was a midway point for all of us. Was happy to know that had a great room in the back as we had a group of 9 including small children. The bloody Mary I had was good in flavor a few more options that come with it would be nice or to substitute others in etc. The food was good none the less and same with sauces great. Service was good as well. Definitely will return when in the area!

Nice friendly atmosphere, was greeted upon entry , we ordered nachos for the appetizer which was good, kinda hard to mess up nachos, then we both ordered their ribs with sides of baked beans, cornbread, potato salad , it was all delicious, definitely worth going to

Sent here for the first time for a simply amazing lunch! The chopped brisket is literally to die for, smoky, tender and so very delicious! Pair it with the chessy hash browns for a perfect lunch! The house barbque sauce is deliciously sweet with just a bite of sass!! Can't wait to go back soon!!
