We ordered the smoked chicken platter and a smoked turkey platter with 2 sides. The turkey is better than the chicken. The two sides were side salads and vegetable medley. The side salad is a good portion. The vegetable medley was a bit salty. Had the raspberry chocolate cheesecake for dessert and it was okay. Would not order again. Overall, enjoyed the visit and will come back to try the burgers.
As much as I love the food at the Wooden Tie, the main reason we go there is for their wonderful salads. However, this last visit we ordered a large salad, the salad dressing was so watered down I could not eat it without splashing the dressing all over me. It just ruins a salad when the dressing is so watered down.
If we do visit The Wooden Tie again, I will take my own Ranch dressing from home. Eating out is just too expensive to ruin great food like that.
My family and I love The Wooden Tie! Amazing food and, great atmosphere, and we LOVE the owners! I had food catered for a part of my wedding from them and it was phenomenal just as I was expecting! All of our guests were raving about their sliders and salad!! Could not thank them or recommend them enough! Thank you!!
